@3232nixon Just checked, when you plug headphones in when HDMI is connected, audio remains on the HDMI.

@3232nixon So essentially you'd have to plug your headphones into your TV, this logically makes sense because HDMI out indicate priority to that output so the connected device should control output therefater.

How the $%#@# did you get WIFI working with the MHL cable plugged in? I have 3 different types (including OEM samsung) that all cripple my WIFI and GSM reception only when plugged in. I guess the web page must of still been in the cache as you loaded it from a bookmark. If playing a random youtube video video works with MHL plugged in, let me know where you got the cable from!!

@P89colin No, no cahe. Wifi/data etc all work fine on my phone whatever is connected mhl or otherwise. If it was loading from any cache it would be pretty obvious anyway.

You can buy the MHL cable from any decent phone shop. mobilefun.co.uk is the quickest.

Wow really? Have you tried to use GPS to try to get a fix with the MHL plugged in? I think my brand new SGS2 must be a dud! All my cables kill WIFI, GSM and GPS only when the cable in puggd in!!

You can customise an Android more than an iOS device and you have more power and control over what it does and what you do with it but if you don't like tinkering with your phone and just want something that is easy to use out of the box then go for the iPhone.
