  • One more comment... if you, for instance Google "tranny" you'll see it's overwhelmingly used online for the sex industry in objectifying and fetishizing transwomen or as a term of ridicule towards transwomen in popular media (often as a mean joke). Transmen don't have this entire context in their lives. Moreover, it smears the line between transwomen (who live 24/7 as women) and drag queens (who dress up for fun or performance purposes but are gay men in terms of their identity).

  • "Tranny" was used as a term of derision against transwomen, not against transmen. Most transwomen hate the term and feel it's a term of derision against their womenhood. Yes, context is important, but the reality is, it's never been used against you as hate speech... therefore you don't have that context in your life.

  • Whoop whoop! Another Buddhist on the channel! I didn't mention it, but I'm Buddhist as well. Not as much in the religious or cultural aspects, but as a lifestyle choice and a perspective I suppose.
