  • i respect you Mr. Lipton, but its "Sir Anthony Hopkins" an honor that people seem to niglect....

  • One of my all-time favorite actors. He is always so interesting, fascinating and compelling in

the choices he makes in his work. And just imagine having your film debut in a movie like

THE LION IN WINTER opposite the likes of Peter O' Toole and Katharine Hepburn. I have

seen that movie several times, and he was even able to measure up to them.

  • WOW I have a new respect for Sir Anthony Hopkins he seems like an awesome person and we all know he's one of the greatest actors. I seen "silence of the Lambs" over 10 years ago and I'm still trying to get over that one. Unfortunately I can't watch many of his movies because they scare the crap out of me. Thank you for the upload SirPhychoflea you are the best!

  • pretentious music...americans haha

  • @gunfart True right?! With a name like gunfart I might have guessed you were 'American' too!

  • @DaggerFaller yes lipton is a pretentious man, he does all the editing so i guess he picked the ott music too which gives the impression of some dramatic score when its just an interview show. i swear most americans have this strange adolescent part of their personalities that just makes their world views naieve. and i made that profile name when i was a kid like 7 years ago and it was the first thing that came into my head that wasnt taken.

  • @gunfart im from uk

  • Outstanding Philosophy!

  • Weed doesn't kill... :D

  • we are all totally powerless....thats the great comfort..if you want it it will happen, these old men are people I look up to.

  • Wow! Related to Yates? I love his husky voice, he's so well spoken. A very intense actor and a perfectionist.

  • Tremendous!

  • I wanted to hear him talk about the world's fastest Indian

  • One day they should start broadcasting full unedited episodes. I doubt it would happen, but I'd love to see a full episode.

  • Very good. Best one for me.

  • What a smart and poetic man

  • I love his voice. It has such a calm, composed feeling to it. I would listen to his stories every day.

  • What a man.

  • He is the first Mrs. Lovette!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the greatest, most talented actors of all time.

  • Hopkins just trashed Lipton's take on booze! It went completely the opposite direction! Incredible!

  • Mr. Hopkins is way ahead of everybody even in his own league. What a magical, effortless actor. Spooked woman at 11:38 just got a high voltage shock!

  • in the beginning they forgot to mention "the elephant man"

  • Dylan Thomas!!!!

  • Turtles!

  • Someone please convince Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington and the greats Daniel Day-Lewis and Jack Nicholson to come on this show!!

  • 10:12 James van der Beek wannabe

  • Port Talbot: rainy, windy, you can smell the sea and the people are nice.

  • This guy is so amazing!!! If you understand the art of acting, Then you understand that Anthony Hopkins is one of the best actors in the world, I am so glad that i can study his work as a student of acting.

  • "the less you know, the more you are free" - anthony hopkins

  • When Hopkins does Brando's Godfather, and he only does it for 3 seconds, I got goosebumps. Absolute effortless actor/icon.

  • @brandtrey1 when he did that impression it was uncanny! What a talent!

  • wonderful

  • I was hoping they talked about meet joe black, that's one of my favorite movies, its soo majestic

  • @SinisterSkyline I loved the film but could not understand what it was about.

  • @LLOYD19851012 "One can only view art through the lense of his own eyes", you could say it's about giving a form and a personality to "Death", an element that's made for ending life suddenly decides to understand life or feel it, an old man coming to grips with the end and tasting his "last meal" with the most grace possible and displaying levels of class we can only dream to see, betrayal and self interest, regret of allowing the betrayal, missplaced love. It's great, no need for tags =]

  • @SinisterSkyline It is, isn't it? It's so simple and low key, yet so accelerating.

  • @SinisterSkyline Couldn't agree more, amazing movie
