The legendary Howard Morris of "Your Show of Shows" and "The Andy Griffith Show" was one of the behind-the-scenes people on this series, as well as playing Professor Icenstein and the chef in the cafeteria.
Also Nancy "Bart Simpson" Cartwright played at least three characters.
I was watching my Yellow Lion (Volume 2#) Voltron set the other day, and Media Blasters is puttin' this out soon. I can't wait to get it on DVD. And yes, as many of us have said: The '80s rocked! Both musically and cartoon wise. It was the best way to sell toys *AND* tell fun/inventive stories. And the voice actors chouldn't be beat, ect ...
i always remembered this show! it was so cool! Its a shame they dont make cartoons like they used to! Saturday mornings were worth getting up for then!
@ALiNkS They also have an official DVD release too, but since your message was four years ago, chances are, you already know! But if you don't, now you do!
Very cool flashback. One of my Saturday morning faves. I think CBS won't release it on DVD because the animation rights belong to Tokyo Movie Shinsha or something. BTW the theme music was done by musician Don Felder who is one of the band members of the legendary band "The Eagles".
One cartoon that should STILL be on DVD. If only CBS would release the rights to it. Or even release the DVD of it. Everybody email CBS and tell them to put all the Galaxy High episodes on one DVD, the show did not run that long.
That was actually a really cool cartoon intro.

Saturday 'toons in the 80's & early 90's ROCK!!! Man I would not want to be a kid nowadays, even with the internet, Ipods and all.
Everything is so sanitized and pre-packeged these days. All boring adult stuff on Saturdays now.
Give me the 80's ANYDAY!

Aimee always reminded me of Judy Garland somehow; delightful character.

I saw all thirteen episodes on youtube last Spring.
The voice in the theme song reminds me of 80s freestyle singer Pretty Tony.

How did the intro I remember go...
Aimee: We're the only two kids from Earth to go to high school in outer space? How do you feel?
Doyle: A little spaced out, Aimee!
