Oscar was another great boxer though but i think Kyosta had the hardest head of the 2, he could not only dish out hard punches but could take them as well

Kosta you need to rematch Ricky Hatton here in Australia or even in Vegas some place where you will get a fair reff i watched the fight and you only lost that fight cause of the ref and cause Hatton continuous grappling tactics i'm 100% sure if you rematch him with a fair reff you will win your not too old and your not done yet get up Kosta then after you beat Ricky Hatton go get Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight them all at 140 your the best Kosta!!

@liketowatchancomment Nothing hatton did was illegal, it's a smothering tactic and it worked. The ref allowed the fighters to work properly without all the interference that you get from a USA ref. Some of the best fighters in history have been inside/up close fighters, that night Tszyu got beat by the better man.

@TheLeev12121 Actually i heard a rumour that a guy seen Kostya on a camping trip on the south coast and had a good old chat with him, through the night and Kostya told him that the Hatton fight would be his last and that he would not win. Shame, Kostya sold his great legacy to a guy that eventually was embarassed by 2 great fighters in Mayweather and Pacquiao. Oh well sometimes you gotta take a gamble. Kostya would have beaten all 3.

@tigermorph1 I loved Kostya. Outstanding boxer. But I am sure your friend is lying. No championship level fighter goes into a bout thinking he's going to lose. They are built that way. Kostya most of all. Would he have beaten either Pacquio is Mayweather. I tend to think not, but I would certainly not have ruled him out. He had heavy hands and was a great pressure fighter. But foot speed was not there.

@TheLeev12121 You got to remember Kostya had a lot of wars under his belt by this point, and Hatton was peaking. Kostya never fought again, which tells you something. He hit Ricky hard, and couldn't discourage him. That might have discouraged Tyszu.

Tszyu was all spent and wouldn't have been able to finish the round, he was losing on all three scorecards aswell. And the 'wrestling' you talk about is inside fighting, some of the best fighters in the world have fought like that. He was a great champion but beaten fair and square, no need to moan.

I have always had the greatest respect for Kostya. He has come through the hardest sport there is level headed, a devoted family man and all round gentleman. Whether he retires or not I don't think he has much more to prove but I wish him all the best.

Hatton was unbelievable that night. A win is a win, but some say maybe if the fight had of happened in the u.s, where they dont allow u to hold, then maybe he wud of had a better chance.
