Always felt sorry for Paul Roma & especially Jim Powers. They worked so hard only to get wasted every time out. My all-time favorite jobber was Israel Matea. Now THERE was talent.
Shouldn't a "Jobber" tribute video, show ppl who were always jobbers? Paul Roma may not have ever been a hvywt or tag champ, but he certainly got out of jobber status for several years.
Rivera, formerly just Mac Rivera, got a small push in late 83 on t.v. and at house shows beating the likes of Paul Vachon, Israel Matia and Rene Goulet but then Greg Valentine broke his leg on t.v and then it was job city. Spent a long time as Conquistador #1 during the late 80's.
being the walking crash dummy for "named" guys is an art form. you have to be able to take the most pathetic excuse for a pro wrestler, get manhandled by them, not get hurt, and make the opponant look great. without jobbers like "nasty ned brady" and "the brooklin brawler" guys like goldberg and warrior would never have been able to get over
Jose Luis Rivera must have lost 500 matches in a row. I never saw him win a match.

@sportjockma - I think he won 1 or 2 matches against another jobber. I think in the 80's he was more well known.
