We should just except people for who they are. I don't grow body hair (native-american ancestry) and I don't have a belly....The problem is that these guys really haven't excepted who they are. I am 52, I don't have a big belly - I am hairy, yes. ipex2005 makes a good point - for so many years in the so-called 'gay scene',30+ meant you were 'over the hill' in their myopic eyes. Having met frequently with the bear community, I have found them warm and welcoming to all. The evil spectre of 'ageism' (so common to the general 'scene') is long exctinct here. All are welcome - and a special tribute to bears/cubs in Manchester, Leeds and London, who have extended the hand of friendship to me.

I also have walked into a bear bar or club and have been treated horribly. Bears are just like anyone else. There are some good ones and bad ones....My point was this vid. It' about acceptance of others no matter your "scene" or however you define yourself. I'm a gay dad so my scene is more like Disney movies and kid's homework. lol.
