Was ich noch hinzufügen wollte ist, dass MacGowan auch in diesem Interview keineswegs einen extrem "fertigen" Eindruck macht oder wie jemand rüberkommt, der "am versinken" ist, wie es die beiden Vögel am Anfang gerne bezeichnet haben. Mit Sicherheit hat der gute Mann das ein oder andere Mal über die Stränge geschlagen und es übertrieben, aber er ist nach wie vor da. Er hat schlicht Glück gehabt und seine Leber scheint ein medizinisches Wunder zu sein ;-)

Wie oft noch? Shane MacGowan wurde in Kent (England) geboren, lebte die ersten 6 bis 7 Jahre in Irland und musste dann mit seiner Familie nach England gehen, damit sein Vater (Maurice) einen Job bekommen konnte. PUNKT. Zum Interview: Die beiden Idioten am Anfang haben mal GAR KEINE Ahnung. Die ganzen Prophezeihungen dass MacGowan dann und dann spätestens tot sei, haben sich NICHT bewahrheitet. Er lebt immer noch und ist nach wie vor in der Lage, eine phantastische Show abzuliefern!

Seht euch mal die Bilder auf der Pogues -Homepage 2008 an - Shane sieht wieder viel fitter aus !- und hat wohl auch sein Alkohol/Drogenkonsum eingeschränkt.

Eigentlich bemerkenswert, das er überhaupt noch lebt!

Who is to say "alcohic" or just one whom indulges in drink? J Joyce was a bowsy man himself. He is brill,(my opinion).
