Heard that it is being shown everywhere except the U.S. I just do not get it since it happen in 2008. The producers should just wrap up the trilogy and DVD it as a complete series and market the h*ll of it! I pay $30-$40 for the series.

I like to by the trilogy box set in DVD. I wish they continue with the same people but I think they seem to had it at the end of the season and quit the series. I wish it were a commercial hit; they could just pay the people to continue on with the next seasons. Oh well; I will be happy when or if it is release in the next few months or years. It is a dynamic series; much better then any HBO stuff!

While they were in the middle of it, it was difficult to see what is easy to see now. I could make enough money to buy a porsche without having things go down that much with options if I had the benefit of knowing what happened.

In closing, to all the young aspiring bankers out there; WSW is not Wall Street. The real money is made by dudes way above those guys pay grade. Its not nearly as sexy as the show portrays. Did you guys hear that "De Chimay" from season 1 is getting charged for imbezzlement? That guy must have been killin it!.. not. And the real interesting story about 2008 should follow the quants with PHD's from the big banks not floor brokers from WSW season 3. Do your research b4 you set your heart on bankin

My first huge objection to this show is the amount of importance they place on floor trading. They have several features on the Chicago floor and then a feature on a "market maker" on the NYSE floor. COME ON! Everything is electronic these days. The Wall Street they are portraying is prehistoric. Open-cry pits?!?!?! come on, a Goldman trader at 200 West street can make the same trades and its the new "killin it". This show is glorifying an old regime. This may appeal to nieve newbs, but thats it

@CosmoHunter24 Entertaining is my whole objection! Floor trading in the United States should have been abolshed years ago.. the same time the other G8 nations went electronic. It just shows that floor trading in the US is a gimick and represents less than 1% of real finance on Wall Street. If anyone thinks that WSW is a legit look at Wall Street, than they are delusional. The Real Wall Street you speak of, is full of guppies that mostly make less than $300k, that would be homeless, without their year-end bonus. There is a gross misconception that if someone works for a bank or a hedge fund that they are automatically "wealthy." In reality, only 10% of the employees at banks and hedge funds make millions. Get over yourself.

Last update I've seen was in early 2010 by Timothy Sykes (star of season 1) saying that he was still in contact with the producers and they hadn't found a new network to pick up the show.

Considering it's taken this long it looks unlikely that it'll air. Even the official WSW website doesn't have any further info on season 3.

They are real people sudo-acting in a dramatized television program. Tim Sykes even mentioned that he wasn't mad when he kicked the fan in season one, the Mojo producers asked him to do this and it took about 6 takes. Also, notice how little detail is given to what these people actually do. The target audience wouldn't understand so they dumb it down.

It's obviously entertainment. The producers aren't trying to pretend this is real so how can you?

WSW does not even come close to becoming something they should try and promote. CNBC should totally air a show that promote Sykes fund over funds like Greenlight, SAC, Paulson, Ackman, or anyother tier 1 fund for that matter..... NOT! They're aren't even in the same league. This season is really cool coz they were in a bear market and set in Chicago, including 2 persons from Think or Swim and 2 hilarious brokerage brothers
