Wow, amazing player, but considering the rest of the symphony, who messed up quite a bit, he looked incredible.
I am not ripping the orchestra or anything, but there were many mistakes, including 2nd horn and trumpet cracks.
It seems like Danilo is the only player that didn't screw up.

@shib340 I believe this is a orchestra of students and not the Berliner or Concertgebouw Orchestra. Try it yourself. I played this symphony on a tour of 14 days and I still remember were I messed up on a stopped note twenty years later.

Wonderful playing!! Never seen this with horn in front. :) (And BTW the orchestra is great, and I also like the conductor's interpretation!)

Then check out Berlin Phil . Stefan Dohr / Simon Rattle's Mahler 5 and you'll find that in the 3rd movment the horn moves to the front of the orchestra as in a concerto.

Yes, it is Corno obligatto, so it is used to do so, as well as in the first symphony is usual for horn players to be stood up to perform.
