Wow, these newfangled silicon microchips could help us to calculate human needs very quickly so we can control production and distribution with far less waste and maybe even end world hunger! Unless the Banks use them to find faster ways to increase their money and reduce ours, but humanity could never be stupid enough to let that happen, we're smarter than ever now. I bet in 30 years by 2010 we will have ended all hunger, poverty, and war. Think about it!
My mother worked for Bell Labs and met Mr. Shatner while he was filming this :) I am so happy to have found it! She, um, kind of ambushed him at one point and got a handshake and an autograph. She gave it to me when I got older. Awesome!
Is that Christopher Reeve at 7:44 ??? This whole video is freaking me out. But not as much as Super Mario in the yellow tie plastered all over the "suggested videos" on the right hand column.
What's funny is that today in that same space they crammed in 7,000 transistors we could probably cram in half a billion with today's lithography within the same space.

This "1976 film" is so trippy that it was made with 1977 hardware (Apple ][ ) and has a 1980 copyright on it...
Cool to watch though!
