The idea that Jesus is the only way, and not Muhammad, Buddha, or Krishna, is deserving of ridicule. The world is full of too many beliefs to be confident in any one religion. And science has shown nature to be too random and painful to believe in a personal god. Just wishful thinking.

I believe that stroy was true and it was God who didnt let that chalk break. He did that because that young man had faith and stood up for what he believed in and i think thats what we all should do :)

Still "god" couldnt make the chalk hold if it dropped all the way to the floor (as we hade seen for the years the test was made). The professor simply messed up that time and it hit the floor on a different angle/with lower velocity. So it didnt break of course. This is simple mechanics (physics)
Chalk often doesn't break when you drop it anyway. If the chalk had stayed floating in midair I might think twice but it merely hit his pants cuff and didn't break.

We, as christians, believe in the evidence of things unseen and that makes this spiritual battle even harder for us. Just think on the many battles that Jesus' disciples had to fight. Repeat this hundreds of times and then analyse the results to see if there is a statistically significant difference. This would actually establish that there were a phenomena to address. A one-off coincidental slip is not good enough. At least not for me or science.

I don't quite understand why the professor didn't just go "oops, sorry, it slipped" then pick it up and drop it properly. During the many times he dropped the chalk, I'm sure it slipped before. And even without slipping, given that you drop something many times, it is statistically favorable that it occasionally not break. I fail to see how this proves a point if any was intended. If it's just intended to make me think, then this is my thinking minus a lot of extras

this is a very good video,im sure it has strengthened the faith of many people. i too notice people who say they beleive in god and the good he does through his only begotten son jesus christ but they still continue to sin and follow the devil and also deny jesus in front of friends /people.everyone needs to keep in mind that jesus said "deny me in front of men and i will deny you in front of the father,but confess me to men and i two will confess you to the father."

No.You could say that God is manipulatve if he forced you to do something but here he leaves you free to choose your own path! And when there is someone fighting for the oppressed there cannot be any evil spirit behind it! God becomes a manipulative mechanism only when religion interfere with it! For example, the crusade. Those doing such things in the name of God make him appeare manipulative.Atheists have good sides and bad sides. This good side was given by God.( Ephesians 1:4)

well my own opinion on this issue is that God put us on earth as free men. That is, we are fully responsible of our actions.The harms that are caused by humans will automatically affect the more vulnerables. And i think that God helps the vulnerables through people. When someone is helping it is God who is working through him! But unfortunately there are too many people who are too blinded by power, selfishness to allow God to use them as instrument to help!

people who are victimes of famine, diseases, war are not victimes of God but are victimes of ourselves. if we were less self-centered, selfish and more willing to share instead of cherishing manmade materials, life would be better on earth! for example, countries which are super powers could, instead of wasting goods, share this with poorer countries! just, wow, i thought abt faith the other day, one definition is: belief that is not based on proof. my thought abt that was " if that is true, then i don't have faith in God, i can look around and know that God exists bc of all the things He made" all the proof u need 2 know that God exists is all around u, look at urself in the mirror.

amen im a guilty of not spreading the word of god as much as i should and you need to do more than beleave in god to go to hevan you have to have faith in him i was hungry one time at a meeting and i had faith in god that he would provide well the leader said whoever can prefrom this task can have a candy bar i did it and got a candy bar and you know what that really boosted my faith and i love this vedeo and encourage others to see it

@lizazoon. Not so. As God's children, we R highly favored. I even get close parking spots @ walmart. : - ) Key is 2 walk in obedience & then we won't have 2 chase God down 4 a blessing, the blessings will chase us down. Another key is 2 always recognize God's hand in the good things that happe & give Him the praise. (Thank Him!) No good parent rewards a disobedient & ungrateful child or they will become spoiled, miserable adults who go through life mistreating people & expecting much.

I praise God through every storm & on the other side of each adversity my faith is stronger than before. God is so awesome! He can take anything that was meant 4 our harm & turn it into something good. Being a Christian has been such an amazing change for me, being saved by Jesus Christ is the most amazing thing, but fearing man isn't. It saddends me to hear this but it encourages me soo much to wanna share the gosple to the lost souls around my school, on the street and even in my home. I'm glad that someone took the time to pass this onto me.[: It's an amazing story that needs to be heard more than once!

A chalk not breaking once does provide enough evidence that a God exists. Also being a Christian does not mean to stand up. On the other hand saying that one is an atheist is to Stand up. Because it is people who believe in God who brainwash kids and other people and support it with claims from books written thousands of years ago, whereas we just provide simple logical arguments.

I've dropped chalk on a floor and it didn't break.

Still "god" couldnt make the chalk hold if it dropped all the way to the floor (as we hade seen for the years the test was made). The professor simply messed up that time and it hit the floor on a different angle/with lower velocity. So it didnt break of course. This is simple mechanics (physics)

Chalk often doesn't break when you drop it anyway. If the chalk had stayed floating in midair I might think twice but it merely hit his pants cuff and didn't break.

@Cainkane1 I'm a middle school teacher, and there hasn't been one instance where another student or I have dropped a piece of chalk and it hasn't shattered into 4 to 5 pieces.

So, you've made a choice to believe in.....(I'm not sure what (not meant to be sarcastic)). And I choose to believe that God created the heavens the earth and everything in it, and that His only begotten Son Jesus Christ died for not only my but your sins. That is my choice though.

I will say though, eventhough I know that God has shown Himself to be real in my life (tho you forbid me from saying that), what would happen if we get to the end of this journey and find out you were right......Nothing, we will just fade away into the universe or something. But, what if (which I know it is) my belief is an actual reality.........just think about it. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY!

We, as christians, believe in the evidence of things unseen and that makes this spiritual battle even harder for us. Just think on the many battles that Jesus' disciples had to fight. Many people saw the works of God and the miracles that Jesus performed but they still refused to believe even then. How much harder will it be for us. People look up to God and pray for goodness from him. They see him as the leader of all mankind...........but
As one day as I mediate I saw the myself surround by my family members but I wanted to see something more soon I saw this light which I see it as God....but as I wanted to see more I saw my own reflected, or I saw myself.
I believe in God, I believe there is something there that we pray to, but you or your soul is more than God. It's you.....

I passed this on. Kids talk shit to me and fuck with me , but on the inside I hope they have a good day and a good life.
God has given me alot , he helped me realize my foolishness. Im 16 and far more pshycologically ahead than my peers. Hes given me an imense amount of tolerance and understanding. Im not some robotic zealot who claims to know god and is farther away from him , nor am I one to readily condemn another.
