@twochordcool Elbow are better now. U2 were a breath of fresh air up to the Joshua Tree, after that they turned into any band plc, trying to coin the most money. Face it, U2 sold out to the man in the early 90s and never looked back. I have nothing but contempt for U2 for being such synical exploiters of their fans. many bands do it and I despise them too ie oasis, but U2 take the biscuit, churning out rubbish year after year. Even the Edge says he is an average guitar player, but money rolls!
