I think what this shows is that the 500 magnum needs a much heavear trigger pull. This would allow the trigger to fully reset and prevent the massive recoil from causing the shooter to squeeze the trigger a second time.
I see two trigger pulls but not a cylinder advance to the next round, and not a 2nd discharge. The trigger did not advance forward enough after the initial pull to reset the cylinder advance mechanism, thus there was no 2nd discharge.
This does not address the double firing occurances.

I believe this does address the double-firing occurances. Although the trigger didn't reset for this shot, it clearly shows it is possible.
