#21 in my Breezy not Easy playlist. This guy goes on for awhile, top notch vocal abilities to actually sing that way. That's really wild stuff, still to this day. Like, you get into the vocals on Abbey Road (The Beatles)? I'd say this guy's career involves a lot of the better, stronger singing apparent there in Rock. Definitely a rocking track involving a lot of air and stuff, and it's difficult. Tubular.

not a surprise that this was such a huge album, "My wave", "Black hole sun", and "Spoonman" are perfect singles. Soundgarden were always great, but those songs introduced them to a much wider audience

I remember reading the first Rolling Stone interview of Soundgarden, and I may have mentioned this here already, but whoever it was interviewing said he got to the house for the interview and the band was on the front porch drinking Bud tall-boys (16ouncers). And he says that's fitting because Soundgarden is a tall-boy band. I thought that was a good description. They have a bit more to offer than most other bands.

As for Jane's Addiction, I'll always love Nothing's Shocking, I'll always be indifferent to Strays. Its basically not even the same band anymore. Yes, the early to mid 90's were pretty awesome... but also, those people are still around and if they want to tarnish their old images, go right ahead...or, you can just wait until you *know* the songs are as good...write your album, then listen again and ask yourself: is this really just a big pile of shit, or is it on par with Badmotorfinger.

Soundgarden is just a brilliant band all together.them getting back together i know sounds great .But sometimes its just better when left alone.Janes addiction getting back and making and album,just didn't feel the same for me.I know 90's music just can't be touched the way it used too.The X gen.was the greatest for me and all in the range of 28 to 39.sorry if I stereo typed ages.

Matt Cameron has to be one of the most underrated drummers of all time, he's definitely up with Danny Carey and John Bonham.ridiculous sense of timing. The whole band really is underrated. And especially Down On The Upside, it's jsut as good as Superunknown.

If you guys are always looking for new good music like I am, then check out a band called Black Market Radio. They definitely need more recognition. The lead singer is actually Chris Cornell's older brother. You can definitely hear some soundgarden influence. Check out the tracks Better Than A Killer, Gone Ten, Big Stones, Good Riddance, Warned You, Wave, Attic Light, and Suicide Parlour. Another band I'm really digging right now is A Perfect Circle.
