She's sang in her head voice like the entire time. There wasn't as much emotion to it as their was to her on-stage performance. I was waiting for her to really belt it out. Disappointing....

Although I still loved this, the live version was ten thousand times better. She put so much emotion on the live version... her notes were on her chest voice... very powerful.. and the last note was amazingly done. And on this she sings mainly on her falsetto which is still beautiful, but the producers should've still let her do it like she did it live.

She was indeed...most belters use mixed voice past a certain note. It's called a "middle belt," because the resonance can be felt somewhere between the middle of the chest and the head. It usually takes a fair amount of training to be executed properly. You'll notice sometimes she gets those breaks going into a note, that's because she's shifting resonance. The same happens with Carrie Underwood sometimes, and Jessica Simpson.

This video was horrible. The live performance was excellent, but this was produced horribly. boring, quiet, weak. it's the producers' fault. they did the same thing with Melinda's studio version of "Home".
