Aion - ranger in action

I have a Ranger, and i highly disapprove of kiting. Not only is it ridiculous, but its taking advantage of the game.

backward and side to side movement = -70% dmg. so stop doing it. just learn jumpshoot.

kiting by walking backwards = fail. Just run forward and use jumpshots for the god sake. Youa re loosing about half of your potential doing it the way we see...

@ObiVanJacobi you make a good point. plus, by kiting while looking ahead of you and just pressing the skill buttons to attack the mob (which is behind you) you can see where you are going and avoid running into hostile mobs. in addition, the attack bonus... there are many benefits to running forward (away from your target) and its definitely worth a try. otherwise, good vid. keep up the good work ;)

it was just a elite mob, made for GROUP killing, looks like Ranger alone is enough to kill elite mob . :)

I trained lvl 22-28 by SOLOING lvl 26-27 elite mobs :) And yeah I'm a ranger :D

The only thing that I can't stand when fighting like this with ranger is that you suffer the possibility of backing in to other aggro mobs. Not really in this video because it's a boss, but during the beta last weekend I had a sort of tough time with that.

Buuut it's still an awesome class if you want to sustain minimal damage. It's not the most powerful class by any means, but definitely a safe one if you know what you're doing,

thats a hard to kill mob for quest....as you can see the dmg that gaved it on archer....even with wa you do it hard because his dmg+stun=you get easy own i was getting like 200 dmg so its a good job made by an archer +5

An avarage mob of same level takes about ~20 seconds to kill...This is obviously an elite/champion mob...

shure it gives you lots of xp....you can look at the video and see how much xp it gaved by looking at the xp bar(the long 1 on the bottom) and gives you big chanse for nice items with 2-3 sockets

there are 20 bars in your lvl bar so 5% each bar. i think the boss gave a half bar of xp, so i think its about 2.5%. 80 minutes to get a level. but thats without waiting for the spawn time.

No not really, they have one ability that turns you into a Mau for a minute and it gives you a pretty good buff. Assassins/ Rangers can buy an item that turns you into a tiger and buffs your run speed.

Its a party zone and he is soloing, all the videos weve seen from the krahl there were full parties ^^

correct by 100%, its a party area, and the reason she used tons of mana and took awhile is because...its a party area, and she just solo'd it -.-

Must have been a hard mob...she got half a bubble of exp from it. (Look along the bottom.) Usually takes longer(as seen on other vids).
