Awe at the barn i work at there is a huge TB gelding like warmblood huge 16.3 hh and he is the sweetest thing in the world! well when I go to give him his grain he sounds like a high pitched litle girl! his whinny/nicker is SOOOO cute like this horse! I love the special horses with their sweet noises :]

If this horse were out in the pasture, he might shove the person going to feed him. Note that I am not critiquing you, only offering thoughts and possible advice. Your certainty that you know everything there is to know about horses, however, will likely be your downfall. When it comes to horses, we are always the student, and never the master.

If they were in the pasture at feeding time, he might translate this behaviour into physical pushiness. Of course, this is only a guess on my part, but I know from 14 years of experience that a pushy horse is always a horse you want to keep a close eye and a firm yet gentle hand in.

This is sooo cute:) my cousins horse does the same thing:) nd to barrelracing771, whn an animal eats food, it naturally salivates (just like a human), and after many times of salivating while eating, the horse gets used to seeing the food, then eating so now it will associate salivation to the sight of the food, so this video is acctually proof tht she feeds and obviously takes care of her horse..
