@justjue1 Unfortunately this is season 6 and is not yet available in stores - however - Bonanza Ventures Inc has made DVDs from Season 1 volumes 1 & 2, season 2 volume 1, with 2 on the way. If sales go well they will continue to produce the shows for us. ALSO, seasons 1 - 7 are available in Germany but I am not sure how to get them yet. If anyone has taped these shows (I`m sure they haven`t cause it`s illegal) we would love to watch them with you!! Where there`s a will... Jehukjehe

Great episode! So much fun; Adam spent the first half of the show trying to make Margaurita behave & the other half trying to get her to act up again! I read that Pernell didn`t want to hit Joan Hackett so she hit really him in the gut to make the spanking look authentic. Apparently it so annoyed & suprised him that he blew his line and actually smacked her hard 5 or 6 times. Listen to the last 2 smacks - one whimpy and one good one! Yeouch! LMAO! That`ll teach her to provoke!!

Interesting information on the interaction of this scene between Joan and Pernell. Where did you read the information that he didn't want to smack her so she hit him hard to provoke him to react? Would love to hear that story!

@willwinl May have been an from an old People Magazine, or some such. Wish I could find the mag. There were interesting facts from behind-the-scenes of different Bonanza shows. Apparently the first couple of times the spanking was tried for shooting did not look authentic so Joan, being a trooper, said go for it, make it look real. Pernell was reluctant so Joan hatched a plan to loosen him up. It worked a little too well, she said she felt it for days! All in a days work for us actors! Cheers!
