What is the difference between outside and inside frame? Is outside frame just an extra sheet of metal??

@8010cookie
Outside frame means that it is wider than the gauge of the wheels so that the frame is in front of the wheels - or outside of the wheels. Most locomotives have an inside frame so that the frame is behind the wheels when you look from the side.

The crossing bell was full of bees/hornets nest. I cleaned it out in May 2009 and it sounds better now.
