I think their older stuff is better than their more recent stuff-I mean, especially their really old songs, before they were signed. Those songs are either really devastating songs about being young, or about fantasy, and they have an ethereal sound. I understand that they're older now but I think their sound and lyrics have both gotten much blander and it's too bad.

I thought you ought to know that Eisley doesn't make much money. They barely break even, if they even are that successful. In a way, I agree with you, though I find myself a mini-fan of Eisley. They shouldn't have made it as far as they have. I think they're good, but they're not THAT good at all.

Also, watch their "marvelous things" video. They're ridiculously dull. no facial expression, and it looks like they're half asleep. Same thing in their earlier interviews too.

you're rediculous to judge the band by their facial expressions in a MUSIC VIDEO! if the director decides to have them look dull in a setting that's supposed to be happy (i.e. a birthday party) then that's what they do.

also, they made it this far because many people who are huge fans like them. there are plenty of musicians who probably shouldn't have made it to fame but they have. so suck it up. if you don't like them, why even bother posting comments on their videos?

I like to see the musicians really getting into their music. It makes for a better performance when they pour their heart out into it. They obviously don't do that, and it shows. The music they play doesn't even move them enough to emote anything.

Opening for bands sucks. Which probably explains the crappy bass mix. Playing while you are sick may explain that it was not a good show. At least they were being real and honest. which is kind of how their fan base and vibe seems to be.

Of course never mind that they were just voted one of the top ten bands by MSNBC, have just done national TV, have sold 15 million CD's and tour constantly. Pro's? yeah...

The best is yet to come with this band. Wait and see.

I saw these guys open for mutemath and it was really bad.The drummer started complaining loudly that he didnt have a setlist.when one of the band members messed up they made it obvious instead of playing it off.The bass player had the worst tone ive heard.He had so much distortion clipping on his bass i dont know how,he was using a musicman bass and a ampeg 8x10. And then they apologized to the audience if they sounded bad cause they were sick that day. they were very unprofessional
