@JonnySuperThunder go to Ceriatone website. I'm sure there's a waitlist but he'll get it to ya! I made a video with the ceriatone for more of an older type marshall sound. It's called Ceriatone/Fat 50's Les Paul, check it out if you get a chance.
Yes you're right. To get technical, I have the TGP Special version of the TW Expression. The 6th knob is the post phase inverter master volume, I also have a half power switch and pi tail resistor toggle switch in the back of the amp. Nik also installed external bias pot and bias test points too.
That was a great demo. I am having huge troubles figuring out what Ceriatone amp to build. I want an amp that does cleans well but sweet overdriven tones like this as well. I was thinking of building the Creme Brulee but the Expression sounds awesome.
Thanks. I have a playlist on my channel of some of the best gear demos I've come across on Youtube. Some really nice stuff of some amps with the power tubes cooking.
sounding good bro i been playing for a year. i just turn 50 but i feel 25 since i been playing the guitar i think i found the fountain of youth .when u get a few extra mins.post the tabs for hello its me thanks im out from the dirty dirty south go gators!
Nooooo! I had it built by NIK @ Ceriatone. My friend built the cabinet with some great curly maple I came across. I wish I could build and dress an amp that neat but I'll just stick to the pedals.:) BTW, I posted a slide show video on how the amp came to be.
oh snap! you're playing "hello, it's me" I love that song, but especially the way you guys play that. put a "breaking down" video up sometime! please? haha.
OMG.. that sparkle comes through even through my little computer speakers.. awesome. What kind of speakers are you using, and have you tried this with a telecaster?
Great sounding amp.How do you get nick to build one for you? Will he build on order for anyone with the money?

What is the 6th knob for? I thought the TW Expression had a vol/tre/mid/bass/prescence?

Power tubes, yes! or as we call them in England
valves. I've made many a comment on ytube regarding the fact that the only way to get a great sound is to DRIVE them. Most of the amp
demos on here are useless.Check out my channel
and see what I use. P90s RULE!! Andy.

man this amp will sound killer with some NOS tubes. Your playing style helps in this demo.

Amazing! did you build that amp yourself? Your wiring is so pristine and immaculate! The flame in your cabinet is incredible too.

Sounds great. So no reverb on this sucker?
mistersooty 3 years ago
Nope. It's true to the original specs of the Trainwreck Express. I make do with a reverb pedal used sparingly though.
