is it me, or is gary treating this song with ill disguised contempt ? this is probably the worse track on the sharpe and numan album, automatic, which was basically wanky shakatak tripe tunes.
I love it. Although this song is not as impressive as the previous Sharp & Numan singles it still has a certain 80's quality that I find attractive! Not classic, but not bad either...
We Numan fans wish this stuff could stay packed away, but youtube makes that impossible. The 80s made for a lot of bad music. Nothinf to be done about it but laugh, right?
numan til i die but he looks so uncomfortable, such a false smile, been there since '78 the plan ,live at the roxy etc, good times bad times...this was a bad time...still bought it though
Dark times indeed but some of us still bought it and left it unplayed in the collection. Luckily he saw the light in 1994 and things got a lot better.

This was not their best song ... "Change Your Mind" and "New Thing From London Town" were MUCH better ...

Cool thing to find. I've had the 12" to this since it came out and love the Razormaid re-edit as well. Great song.

He looks like a right tit in that video.

Ugh! I think Numan was desperate for a hit. For 1989 he looked outdated with that Rising Sun shirt on.
