  • How tragic! Just think of all those people who didn't get their mail because the DHL plane went down!

  • angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse angoisse

  • Snobby first class got pwned.

  • which episode is this? there are a few shows out there like that.

  • TCAS and CONTROLLER misunderstood

  • what flight is it

  • this is why I Like buses

  • so no one actually thought about plane routes until 2002. fucking americans.

  • Eh, damn juctions

  • omg that killed over 3,000 people i dont call that awesome

  • Why did the engine blow off the 757??

  • @j1992g When the 757 lost it's rudder, it began yawing from side to side. This increased aerodynamic forces and snapped off BOTH of the engines, before the 757 crashed 4 mi away.

  • How can this kind of thing happen? What a terrible tragedy. Are we really safe up there? God bless those people

  • sucks to be the guy at 0:21

  • apparently the father of one of the passengers murdered the air traffic controller who was on duty and was monitoring the flights. Good . I would have done the same to the incompetent Bastard.

  • and that's why kids you never take drugs...

  • oh crap....

  • well that would suck... :(

  • When accidents like that happen that high you pretty much "fucked". If your still alive all you can do is head down and grasp your knees, brace and pray for a miracle.

  • were those people falling out? 0:20

  • @chazhappymondays Looks like people.

  • @chazhappymondays they were but only two

  • @chazhappymondays No those are race cars.... yes they are people :P

  • this was on failblog

  • No survivors right?

  • Look you win, ok, NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO BOARD A PLANE WITH A PARACHUTE..but regardless of what you say or believe..IF people were allowed to carry one on AND the plane got hijacked(9/11/01..Hello?) THEN most type A personalities would be fighting for that parachute and turn that hatch and get off that plane while the rest took their splat to the ground..you'd be the 1st trying to grab the parachute,..Mr DerPilotMann

  • @Yeppr

You can't actualy open the hatch of the airlines while it is in flight. The hatch moves inside and because of the presure difference it just won't open. Also extreme wind, possibly unpredictable direction during ejection and before-mentioned rival passengers would make escape attempt so much harder.

  • @Armuotas Don't boeing 747s fly at too high an altitude to jump from anyway? Most skydivers go from 12,000 - 14,000 feet, as far as I know 747s go up over 20,000 feet.

  • @MoziIIa4000 They fly average over 30,000 to 40,000 feet. If you jumped you would be dead before you hit the ground.

  • @Armuotas Not to mention, cruising at that altitude you would die from lack of oxygen or freeze to death.

  • @Armuotas Actually, the door can be opened during flight but you need to unlock it first.

  • @Armuotas Yes, the hatch would make the plane fail, but if the plane broke apart or if people got sucked out with there parachutes on, it wouldn't matter, and the hijackers would die with the plane.

  • @Armuotas Not to mention the G forces pinning everyone solid into seats, against bulkheads etc…

  • Lol I know Russian n_n yeeee

  • i speak russian i speak russian and you don't nananaa

  • @qasim0004 But I can read it! And I'm italian! NANANANANANA!

  • keep pressing 6 and 4 trolololololololo

  • That's scary

  • is the DHL plane survive??

  • @007NikoBellic no, all dead. The russian plane has a school class and a famioly on a trip. The bodys of the children were found in an area of ca. 10-15 km arround Überlingen.

  • EPIC

  • That would hurt.

  • 0:20 some1's dad just flew out of the plane.....

  • Comment removed

  • @rugbychick14 Lol you're retarded. Your family should have you killed, or better yet your family should be killed as you watch. You worthless piece of garbage, you are not worthy of life.

  • "you may be experiencing some mild turbulence soon" :)

  • @7shado People died HORRIBLE deaths and you're laughing and joking? You fucking terrorist dog.

  • @Hikarilover123 Just because someone has a different sense of humour than you it doesn't nescessarily make them a terrorist.

  • @ellymango They're joking about death. Innocent people were terrifyingly lost that day. That's like saying the terrorists on 9/11 could've stolen the 2nd plane's points if they hit both towers. How's that for jokes? Is it so funny now?

  • @Hikarilover123 I'm not saying it's funny. You don't understand the dark and twisted things that amuse others because it doesn't amuse you. Just because you don't find it funny it doesn't mean the whole world agrees with you.

  • @Hikarilover123 yes actually

  • One day in about 50 to 100 years, they'll look back and wander why on earth airline passengers weren't each given a parachute to wear when traveling on an airplane. Till then, just keep on believing those excuses "You'd pass out from the G force as soon as you left the plane" "The pressure alone would kill you" "The FAA knows what they are doing"

  • @Yeppr I have a neice who was going to be flying very soon and for the first time after her 4th Birthday. When asked what she would like for her Birthday she replied, " a Parachute !"

Alas, such a device would probably not suffice in this video scenario, but I give her credit for fore-thought !

  • @Yeppr

A parachute wouldn't help you in that situation, I don't pretend to know the physics of it in terms of air pressure but in this particular case it looks like anyone on board would have just been incinerated in the explosion.

Although I don't see how a parachute could harm things.

  • @Yeppr Are you retarded? Im sure the actual reason, aside from the fact that everyone would ignore the safety breifing, just like they do now. It would be incredibly uncomfortable, and most of all, you would be less safe, parachutes add weight, lots of it when its one per person, a plane flying overweight, or close to it, does not handle as safely. That is simply an ignorant statement, if you even understood the simplest principles of aviation you would know better.

  • @DerPilotMann The policies and principles of the FAA are that no one is allowed a parachute on a plane. If you are caught with a parachute on a plane you were planning on sabotaging the plane and should be prosecuted as thus. If the plane goes down for electrical, collision,or natural acts of weather you are to remain calm through your 8 minute plummet to the earth in which you will be pancaked on impact like the rest of the crew. No exceptions!! Quit trying to reason common sense into this !

  • @Yeppr ? I was giving the operational view of why not...Common sense does not side with every passenger having a parachute...

  • Your argument that the airlines and FAA should continue to forbid parachutes on commercial airlines is due to parachutes being "uncomfortable" or that they'd "add weight to the plane" is quite amusing, but what's even more fascinating and proves society is like cattle in line to the slaughter is that no one seems to have issue with parachutes not being an option..funny that lifejackets are often mandatory on boats in certain lakes within the USA..I'm sure the airlines avoid lawsuits when all die

  • @Yeppr Christ, you are retarded...falling off a boat is far more common than have your plane break up mid air, or hitting another aircraft. You have to think operationally, not just "Its dangerous for me to fly on this airplane without a parachute!" Seriously, none of the pilots or flight attendants think it is necessary, and they are flying pretty much every day. Seriously, I never thought I would meet someone who thinks not having parachutes on airlines is some kind of fucking conspiracy...

  • @DerPilotMann lol wow im not gonna bother reading other comments, but did someone actually think that planes crumbling in mid air is a common occurrence? lol.. man people are fucked..

  • @ODOMAN123 Apparently they are common enough parachutes should be mandatory...Yeah, people are fucking stupid lol.

  • @DerPilotMann If the FAA decided tomorrow all commercial passengers must be issued a parachute underneath their seats then all pilots and all flight attendants would comply and everyone would be saying how great an idea this is and how the airlines really care about their passengers and that this only makes sense. I don't expect this to happen because in general the entire aviation community (well the general public as well) is ignorant and will always do as their told

  • @Yeppr no, everyone would complain that they are uncomfortable, either their taxes went up, or the ticket fares (depending on who foots the bill) and airlines would have to raise fares anyway because they would no longer be able to book their planes completely. Not to mention, it takes a little training to use a parachute, at least without injuring yourself. it would make the boarding process even more slow, because not everyone would know how to put one on. You are the only ignorant one here.

  • @Yeppr i hope ordinary citizens would know how and when to deploy parachutes correctly, bad idea unlike pilots who have ejection seats in jet fighters, nothing's gonna catapult you away the commercial plane and your parachute would just likely be punctured by debris or your stomach.

  • @dharmdevil A passenger plane that splits open longways and ejects passengers with a parachute built into the seat..hmm..that's just crazy! I mean that's like someone having a stupid idea in 1925 to put safety belts within the seats of cars(what a bad idea tieing you into a wrecked car!)..I mean it would be so "uncomfortable" as well!

  • @Yeppr seatbelts and parachutes, 30 000 feet and sea level, 800 kmh and 80 kmh is just too far not even all pilots have succesful ejection attempts, parachuting from a wrecked plane is not like sky diving, untrained people would snap out of conciousness b/c of low oxygen at altitude not even military pilots can escape from a commercial plane crash, they were made for comfort not for military standards

  • @Yeppr You're a fucking idiot. Air travel is safer than walking on a side walk. Should people wear protective vests and other garments to prevent fatal car crashes? Sounds pretty ridiculous to me.

Safety will be directed towards accident prevention. By the way, you lack physics education, an aircraft traveling at 800km per hour then suddenly mangling apart in mid air twisting with human bodies is hardly ideal for parachute deployment, not mention high octane fuel burning and melting metal.

  • I still don't understand how they got this video footage?? Did they have an airplane with a camera in the area???

  • @AceNinja2112 are you dumb or just pretending to be? this is a dramatization. computerised graphics.

  • A Swiss air traffic controller got murdered over this incident.

  • K.A.D. to Bigeye... You hit something.

  • holy fucking crap!!!

  • sucks that anyone fell from that high

  • That happening Is about 1,000,000,0000/1

  • Supermanski - I think they call him

  • Aircrash.ucoz.net

A new website about air disasters. Documents, photos, videos...

  • Wheres Superman when you need him?

  • well that hasn't cured my fear of flying

  • @joedivision1992 yeah, watching airplane crashes on youtube helps you cure it.... NOT!

  • if you want to see what it feels like to be in that plane, watch Fight Club.

  • Holy s***!

  • How did they get a video of this??? Was there another airplane (with a video camera) that happened to be in the area???

  • @AceNinja2112 are you kidding me??? Your actually think this is real?? It's a recreated dramatization from the show "Air crash Investigation". Its not a real recording

  • @AceNinja2112 you are an idiot brah. you actually thought this was a real video?

the even was real but the video was not. wow you're pretty stupid.

  • You people are idiots the DHL is never lucky lossing a piece of something on a plane is catastrophe the DHL with out it's tail is nothing but a falling spinning glider the DHL will go for another 4 miles before crushing watch the aircrash investigation serios

  • Airplane sex...never a pretty sight.

  • @dannyhitman1994 It can't be a DC-10

  • Whas that a 727? Or a Tupolev tu-154?

  • @Mrjustcommentsnovds Tupolev tu-154 and Boeing 757 in this accident.

  • OHH my God!!! that crash was horrible, can you imagine the real crash!!

  • Another russian success flight..this time, no ejection seats..

  • When i was flying i saw a dc10 (maybe) either flying away or towards us,you dont really know until it goes near you,i shit myself,it was a close call, our plane just wizzed past, and you could just see the plane coming in att a tremendous speed towards us,but it was above us anyway.Phew

  • Where is superman?!

  • um i was watching this on nat geo(i live in america)there were a bounche of kids from 9 months to 34years of age on that plane every one died. There was a problem with a father whos doughter died and he beat the shit out of a new guy at watchtower in germany.

  • If your stabalizer is blown off, you wont fall. You will simply spin in circles. :)

  • the DHL one didn't get too damaged only the tail flew off....

  • Omg, not a single comment on this video is constructive, not even mine...

  • oh yeah i was watchin this on tv its awsome u can watch it on utube its called air investigation

  • if i didnt know better id say that was real footage

  • @Tcook96 it really happened though...

  • @whik8 oh, i know it did, but that is amazing effects. i feel awful for those people who were on those planes :(

  • They both had TCAS. The bashkirian did not follow the TCAS-climb insturction as they were ment to. Pilots should always follow TCAS cause we as human make mistakes. Its mandatory by law to follow TCAS. It wasnt only the controllers mistake, in aviation it seldomly is ones mistake. These accidents occure when many things go wrong at the very same time in the very same place...

  • that sucks. :/

  • happymana you could also break your fall with a fat person!

  • @NintendoDSVampire fuel tanks in wings and body...

  • This is why I'd rather drive myself someplace.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup with TCAS and better trained ATC personell, you would have to be retarded to repeat this.

  • The father of one of the Russian children killed in this air disaster later showed up at the doorstep of one of the air traffic controllers and shot and killed him.

  • @dzilen holy cow!

  • cool way to die.

  • as far as i know this happened over Swiss skies.

  • @NintendoDSVampire The DHL plane's tail sliced the other plane just infront of the wings.

  • The DHL plane was lucky, it had 2 engines and 2 wings and 2 tail wings, the other planes was sliced in half.

  • RIP to everyone who lost their lives in that crash.

  • It was the pilots fault. The law says that planes must be AT LEAST 2000 feet apart from each other. and these planes were flying towards each other.

  • @bloodspilla55 but the main reason for this crash was due to ATC error.the ATC was falling short of man force and they had to work overtime.

  • Are you guys all idiots?? This really happened! There's a whole documentation of it. And btw, the people in the plane tht split in two suffocated cause the cabin pressure was realesed. Even those who fell out. RIP.

  • ive seen that 1

  • This is so cool! I wanna see more crashes and burn-ups!

  • how can u survive kind of this accident omg..

  • If I fell out of that plane I would be so mad at you. *Sarcasm* ha ha, whee!

  • Free fall!

  • so this is what russian people do for kicks.

  • @Dhadzinsky

have you always been this stupid or is this merely your most recent accomplishment?

  • @tippitytop1

    He he, briliant :)

  • I was in the town (Uberlingen) before the plane crashed there. There were a lot of children on that Bashkirian tu154.

  • I love how people think this is a joke but its not. This is a computer graphic of the DHL 757 and Tu-154 midair that killed scores of people.. RIP

  • i saw a guy fall out lol.weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @legomaster335 probablly cuz he didnt wear a seat belt :D

  • annoying orange:HEY HEY PLANE!!! plane1: what annoying orange :TAIL plane 1:oh god... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

  • I'm not shipping DHL anymore.

  • *sighs* should of done a barrel roll...

  • mission failed successfully!

  • English por favor.

  • You can survive this situation! But you must land on a haystack.

  • Ha! :)

  • or have a parashot.

  • @happymana better still..you can survive by not being on those planes!

  • @happymana Lol ud die before u hit the ground haha

  • @panda100123 not necessarily. look at PanAm103 over Lockerbie. It's widely believed that the pilots and some of the crew/passengers regained conscienceless when their decent reached a part of the atmosphere with breathable air and they fell from 35000 feet. There's even one story where a stewardess was found with a pulse by a local but died shortly after on the scene. pretty scary shit

  • @happymana yeah land on a huge haystack

  • @happymana Damn thatll hurt, i bet the needle will go straight through your eye!

  • @happymana or chuck norris

  • That was one freak accident of a kind. The chance that two fast-moving objects actually hit in three-dimensional space is so low... bad luck of the worst kind here.

  • This is why I no longer fly on any Bashkirian Airlines flights.

  • TCAS anyone?

  • @Michielos23

Both of them got TCAS. And the TCAS worked out well. The problem was that the controller told the Bashkirian pilots to sink. The TCAS announced them to climb. So they had to decide which voice to follow. The mechanic one or the human one. They made the wrong decision and followed the controller. That´s why they crashed. The DHL crew made a radio call that they are in a TCAS decent. But it was not heard either by the controller nor the Bashkirian crew.

  • TCAS toled the DHL to desend

    atc toled BTC to decend

    DHL pilots lission to TCAS

    for other its anyones guess.

  • @mattstorm360

And Tu-154 pilots got order from the traffic control to expedite descend while TCAS ordered to increase.

  • This is why TCAS is important.

  • no there falling in, fucking dumbass i hope the next plane you take gets ripped and half and only you fall out, into a pool of sharks

  • lol read the description genius. "DRAMATIZATION"

    facepalm.

  • @moonunitenar smartone keep reading "dramatization of ACTUAL mid-air plane collision"

  • @naruto10 yeah, some dumbass said "fake", and I felt the need to comment that their grasp of the obvious is admirable.

  • the innocent who die.

  • glad i live in norway its only 1 plane have crashed in norway.

  • No wonder my package was late.

  • Think of something original, and in 2002? It's like they had HD cameras installed at Tokyo-Narita during the FedEx accident and made these animations of mid-air collisions with cargo jets to see what kind of retards they could find on the internet.

  • How can your package be 'late' when it was destroyed?

  • i don't ever want to go on a plane again.

  • planes are still the most safest transport out there.

  • to avoid these kinda horrible accidenst, the radar should show cordinates AND heigth lvls.. that could save lifes!

  • It does.

  • It did, the air traffic controller just wasn't paying attention because he was dealing with other aircraft. The planes even back then had built-in alert systems that when planes get close in same altitude it warns the pilots and tells them to pull up or to pull down. In the case of this accident the DHL's system told the pilots to pull down and they did, the Russian Tupelov was being told by the controller to descend but the system told them to pull up. The controller was murdered in years...

  • lol

  • Those poor people who dired onthose two flights. Those stuid pilots weren't watching where they were going what else can i say. Any survivors? If there were then how the frick did they survive.

  • it was the ATC error he didn't do it right when the DHl climb downas it was ordered the other plane when down too since the cockpit asked the pliots to climd down so the collision happened no survivors as both came crashing down hard the ATC person was killed the next day by a man claming that he's wife and childen was in the flight

  • Not to mention, as a pilot it IS your job to visually monitor the airspace around you. Relying on the radar and ATC is how accidents like this happen.

Put the notebook computer away, and do the job you're getting paid to do.

  • above 18000ft you have to have an IFR flight plan (that means instrument flight plan) it is ATC's job to separate known IFR traffic. and at those speeds the pilot's had no idea it was even gonna happen...

  • Yes, ATC is supposed to perform that task to keep everyone safe, but when visibility permits, the pilots ought to be scanning the skies, just in case. It's not impossible to avoid a mid air collision at airliner cruise speeds if you have a good range of visibility.

  • That almost happened right over my house a few days ago. They might have been at slightly different flight levels, but they crossed paths way too close. Literally just a few lengths apart from my point of view.

  • you talking laterally or vertically?
