@mammal567 You can't get all of his hair wet using a spray bottle or rag. His hair is several inches long. If I did it with a bottle or rag is would take much longer, and would potentially stress him out in that time.
HI...I just bought coronet g.pig...& i txt the previous owner whether i can shampoo the g.pig. but he's said that just used warm water not need add shampoo. But..F no shampoo, it wouldnt leave a stink smell???SO whats ur suggestion?
No I'm not. He's a Peruvian guinea pig, with very long hair, and occasionally he does need a bath. He is kept inside, towel dried, and completely warm and dry before going back in his hutch. No stress involved.

@mzvolk Go to a pet store and buy small pet shampoo. It will make your piggy smell nice :) Or you could use very mild baby shampoo.

I have 2 guinea pigs. Onse is an american crested named truffles and the other is a peruvian named gizmo or gizzy for short =)
