Saw it last week on TV. I switched when this dude starts cutting off the ear of a totally defenseless cop. Not because I was repulsed (I guess the scene was meant to be repulsive), but the clear message has been brought a zillion times already (violence has no grounds, is senseless and useless). DUH!!!! Like a porn movie repeating that sex might actually be great by showing the opposite over and over again.

@eggertstwart Hi, to be honest I've seen the movie years ago, then I could see the humour. I guess times have changed since then, violence has come closer to my door. Too many people believe that actual violence is fun as well. Showing negativity, even when humouring it, seems to evoke negativity in stead of turning it around. I don't mean to moralize, but I guess that's what I'm doing right now. Like the song, the only song by George Baker that's actually has some value haha..
