  • uuuuh, who wouldvdislike this???

  • Very impressive playing, certainly by the strings. Excellent control, balance and synchronicity throughout -- except the very last chord seems a little flat; what a pity. The pianist has a few slip-ups & wrong notes (on 3:00, 4:59, 5:04, 8:29, 8:53). But his most hilarious moment is 9:27, when in a rush he turns two pages at once by mistake, needs to plays the most difficult passage from memory as a result, only to turn back one page at 9:38! But all in all, a thoroughly enjoyable performance.

  • good work!

  • They look like they're having so much fun! I played this last night, and we just had to play the section at 4:30 at least 3 times.

  • I like this. Brahms'd be pleased. Just one thing: wouldn't it maybe be a little better if all the players were beautiful women? I mean, then I could really get behind this piano quartet thing. And pretty faces don't hurt at the box office, neither.

Just kidding. I know, some people are actually into guys. I don't know. What would Brahms say? I guess he would just be glad that his music is being played at all. His stock has fallen quite a bit in the last 50 years. But this was good. Really.

  • beautiful. the drama in the opening part was great. well played guys!
