iPod is classy. Just that there are too many 'i' products in the Apple family but its still a lovely name and it comes from the word 'pod' used for one of the space modules in the film, "2001: A Space Odyssey" by Stanley Kubrick.

this video is pretty cool, even thought they have blatantly ripped off their ideas from alice in wonderland (crawling through the drum kit, Scissor sisters (swimming with the jellyfish like the video for comfortably numb) and smashing pumpkins (sitting on the moon like in the tonight, tonight video). Not really original but it works.

good point. every one has a stupid ipod. The zune is something eles, something better. and no how did it copy ipod?. M$ made zune to compete dicrectly and only towards apple's NEW ipod nano (also known as fatty) and ipod classic ONLY. If apple abondend the old slim look of the ipod for the fat one than thats their falt not m$'s. so its not copying. and zune it just a better video player and now music + wireless sharing M$ is going to sell alot of these.

Its almost like they are trying to set the zune up for failure, with their horrible ads and corny slogans. I guess they are trying to define themselves from apple's minimalistic style, but it really isnt working (at least for me and i am very bias)
