It might just be me but I don't think "so close to reaching that famous happy end. Almost believing this was not pretend" sounds very wedding-y. I wanted it for my wedding when I first heard it until I listened to the words..

@Beckei87 That phrase is actually perfect for a wedding scene. If you think about it and really listen to the song, "So close to reaching that famous happy end, almost believing this was not pretend"; translates into the whole point of getting married because you want that famous happy end and when you're married you're no longer pretending that that's what you're aiming for, because if it's the right person you will have your happy end.

This isn't exactly a wedding song. Its a love triangle. If you listen to the lyrics its really a sad song. Isn't a wedding supposed to be about happiness..?

the first time i saw enchanted i was so in love with the song that i sa the movie like literaly 5 times to memorize the lyrics and hear this beatiful song it sometimes makes me cry

i like the song, it's romantic, but i'm not sure why anyone would want to play this on their wedding day as their "first dance" song. the lyrics say, "so close, but still so far..." which basically means the couple want to be together but, for some reason, they can't be. it fit the *love triangle* story in Enchanted.
