I think what Americans got to do right now is to deeply reform the expenditure structure, that is all americans should reduce their consumption..start saving more and cut all the credit cards and the government should reduce the expenditure on military expenses and start paying off the national debt. Stop letting china and japan to swarrow the US bonds..it will create a bigger problem in the future if americans do not change the way they live
I think that the experts need a job. No one is addressing it, I believe that Americans are living in a bubble, lied to, and set up for a fall. Manufacturing drained little by litte, the politicians playing with private equity to shift economy around which erodes communities. This administration and Clintons should be held accountable, Congress and down the line.
So there will be massive inflation so that paying off the debt will be a breeze. Of course when a cinema ticket is 60 dollars the pension you get wont get you very far.

Very true fugi. The founders warned us what would happen if we were to become a democracy instead of a republic. Woodrow Wilson (Federal reserve and income tax) and FDR (social security, big gov't) put us on this road and what is happening is the inevitable result of ignoring the country's founders.

Yes Bush has spent money like he lost the veto button. And the republican congress lost in 2006 because of earmarks... but this type of spending has been going on for YEARS. This problem hasn't happened in the last 8 years. Here's a thought...lower taxes, as the IRS gets more money when they do, less gov, less environmentalists....just saying

assume US government borrowed 1000 bucks for giant pizza . They ate it but we stuck with paying 1000 plus interest .Money for interest never been given . And previously borrowed money did not have interest money printed either . So the fucking system created to accumulate huge debt .
