  • I know one forty-ish single white guy from Dallas, Texas who's crazy about 沙茶醬. Whenever he goes to San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles County in the U.S., he buys a tin of it. He eats it amazingly authentically like a Chinese: on steamed white rice in stir-fried thinly-sliced beef with lots of scallions, which I would call 蔥爆牛肉加大量的沙茶醬, and which is actually very good! much better than by the majority of Chinese whom I know these days. No wonder, he's from an upper-middle class background.

  • I think she's not a pro but better than a pro on TV. I like her ways of presenting very much!

  • The show host pretends to be a Chef and has long nail may contain insanitary substances.

  • Well, I am not sure about "pretending to be a chef" are appropriate words to use. I think she is teaching a typical housewife or one who wants to learn how to cook. Majority of the housewives have long finger nails, there is nothing wrong with that. Nevertheless, I agree that she should wash hands before and after touching the raw meats, at least express the concern of contaminants to the audiences.

  • She should teach herself and her audiences to wash hands after processing raw meat. Food network does a good job by educating its audiences to avoid food contamination. The network's TV hosts wash their hands in front of the TV.

Good Recipe. I will certainly try it.
