How long does this take to get rid of acne all over ur face? Please someone answer this question! I'm debating or not if I should get this product for my face.

Using the cream cleanser in my morning shower is great because I'm not drying out my skin first thing. I love neutrogena! I also recommend their rapid clear acne defense face lotion for oily skin.
i use the scrub and the power foam wash... and ocasionally i use the 3-in-1 hydrating acne treatment but it does dry ur skin so evryday i use the scrub the foam and clean and clear advantage acne control moisturizer and it works but it does take a while. i've used it for about 2 weeks so i still have time until hopefully it clears my acne in a month from when i first started it lol and thanks for the help:)

2% salicylic acid is not a small amount. In fact, I don't think there are any over the counter products that have more than 2% salicylic acid.
The other active ingredient used for treating acne is benzoyl peroxide, and the over the counter stuff goes as high as 10%.
my dermatologist recommended using salicylic acid in the morning (after toning, before moistorizing) and benzoyl peroxide at night (again after toning, before moistorizing) and it works so far.
i have acne and i use this scrub morning and at night and my face now is pretty much clear i have been using this product for almost a year and best product yet i have ever used

if this doesn't work for you, try out Clearasil products! the acne scrub says it takes away 100% of acne and it really works! for my skin at least. i have combination skin that's a little on the dry side, and the scrub works after just a few days use. i even noticed a difference after the first time:]
i just started using this and hope it works. i seem to notice less acne but its only been like 3 days since i used it. like she said, i too am starting to drink more water. i hear that drinking water also helps reduce acne, idk why but they say it does
i just wanted to add, that i have been using the cleanser and the night treatment for about a week now and it's made a difference for my skin. i have a many small zits on my forehead because of my bangs and lots of blackheads :\ but after using this, ive noticed my small zits have definitely been reduced and my blackheads as well. I think the acne stress control is a great line for those with mild acne, especially for those small zits or blackheads
I think this is better for black heads and stuff. You just have to make sure you scrub. I have some around my nose, whenever I scrub they're literally gone.

I use the whole line, except for the toner. It changed my skin completley. I've used the line for about a year now, and i love it. OF course I get the occasional pimple, heck I'm a teenager, its going to happen. However, I did NOT have severe acne, just moderate pimples that would not go away. I agree that it is more preventative, but once the pimples on your face clear up as you use it, its seriously helps! iLOVE IT!

Yeah same, its due to the natural oils on your hair, and due to the fact which you have bangs the hair is on your skin, this causes your natural hair oils to block pores causing achne. :/ It helps if you pin your bangs back at night before you go to bed as there will be less natural oils going on your skin.
This is late but scrubbbb. Don't just put it on you and wash it off. Stand in the shower and literally scrub for maybe a minute and then wash it offff :)

I dont use neutrogena anymore...it didn't work for me..but now I use clean and clear and works so much better ..my friends and family even noticed how much it works on me salicylic acid was to gentle on me so I reccomend products with benzoyl periocide...it works so much better and kills pimples faster...and we all have different skin so be open to new things...try different products and see whats best for you
i have this product and i agree with you. you can feel the coolness and smothness after you use it. i use to have redness on my cheeks and after i used it for a week it was gone. i love this product!!
@SuperHurra I think it depends on your skin, it works great on my rather oily skin and I can tell the difference. Also, I think it also depends on the severity of your acne. Some products work for others, some don't.

Neutrogena acne stress control is awesome...but it's so small (about 4 oz.) that it only takes me one month to finish the entire product..so i have to keep buying it everymonth D:
you should just use 'Clear Acnefree' (its a 3 step product thats cheap and it's for clear,sensetive,and severe skin) it costs like 20 dollars and i've been using it for the past 4 days and right now i have completly clear skin ;]
i noticed this scrub is very gentle on my acne. usually other products will sting and leave my face red. this scrub actually soothes my acne and diminishes the redness on the pimples. I use it at night so that my face is ready & prepped for makeup in the morning.
Hmmm, well everyone has different skin, and when I tried it, it didn't really work for me. I don't usually have a lot of blemishes but one time I had a horrible breakout because of stress and this did NOT work at all! =/ Better luck with the aspirin mask =D

I use proactiv and it works for me, im 14, and i have oily skin. But i was wanting to know if it is ok to use this product after i wash my face or do the whole proactic system? Or would the combination of the 2 screw me over?
i think that you should just stick with one brand. if you use both the chemicals might damage your skin. it also might cause dryness. so just stick with proactiv if it works for you.

I have the Acne Stress Control Power Scrub too. I like it because afterward my skin is alot softer and noticably cleaner too. At first I didn't think it worked because there was no change but thats the point, I didn't get any pimples. Plus I've been forgetting to use it these past few weeks and I'm starting to break-out. your one side may not be doing as well becuase you have a side part and your hair falls onto your face. If it gets oily during the day it could make your skin oily

there are two things that are common to be the main ingredient in face washes, benzoyl peroxide and syliac acid. its easier on the skin. benzol peroxide caused me to break out which is why things like pro active wouldnt work. check the label
this may be random, but is it possible to be allergic to benzoyl peroxide? i had the clinique acne solutions and the moisturizer would always make my skin burn and it would be dry. i thought it was just sensitivity, but it might be both...

this stuff what i do since i get pimples around that time of month, and not so much acne anymore, i put it on as a mask let it sit for 10 mins with a bit of water and when u rinse it off ur skin is super soft and smooth. and gets rid of the pimples faster

omg i use this and it works really good for me.. i guess it depends on the type of skin you have but yea this is pretty good but im trying out that oil free acne wash in pink grapefruit. i wanted to try it cause it smells really good (and my mom was offering to buy to my stuff so i was sure im not paying so if it doesnt work its not my money.. kidding) but it works just like the one your using but it smells like grapefruit. but good review
This stuff cleared up my acne last summer & kept my skin clear. I quit using it to try a new product, and that product ruined my skin. I just got this stuff again today, & I cannot wait to use it!
I use the 3 step system including this product and it is the only product that has ever cleared my skina and actually kept it clear! I have tried sooo many crappy products and only gotten little or no results. I recommend this product to anyone even if you dont have acne it still makes your skin look and feel great. You just have to be really careful with the scrub if you have sensitive skin because the scrub can irritate it but the lotion and foam is great for sensitive skin.

i have that exact acne wash, and iv been using it for about 2-3 weeks now
and it did get rid of alot of my pimples
but i didnt notice and redusment of red iritated skin
i still have alot of pimples to clear, ill give it anoth month or 2 and hopefully it works for me

Neutrogena acne stress control is awesome...but it's so small (about 4 oz.) that it only takes me one month to finish the entire product..so i have to keep buying it everymonth D:

you should just use 'Clear Acnefree' (its a 3 step product thats cheap and it's for clear,sensetive,and severe skin) it costs like 20 dollars and i've been using it for the past 4 days and right now i have completly clear skin ;]

i noticed this scrub is very gentle on my acne. usually other products will sting and leave my face red. this scrub actually soothes my acne and diminishes the redness on the pimples. I use it at night so that my face is ready & prepped for makeup in the morning.

Hmmm, well everyone has different skin, and when I tried it, it didn't really work for me. I don't usually have a lot of blemishes but one time I had a horrible breakout because of stress and this did NOT work at all! =/ Better luck with the aspirin mask =D

i have dry skin and this exfoliates so well and i noticed a big difference in my skin in just one use! and it feels amazing. i had deep painful zits, and it has helped so much in just a couple of days, my zits are almost gone and i just started using this on sunday! &:)

I might recommend this to my sister. I don't really have acne, but my sister does, and she tried using ProActive and it did absolutely nothing. She doesn't have all that much, but she's really self-conscious about the stuff she has, so I'll recommend this to her :).

should tell her to try Clearasil the Benzoyl Peroxide its in a tube. I have acne and i have tried ProActive 2 and nothing. But these product is working for me and i have tried everything. you can find it at wal-mart or drugstores.

St. Ives works better than anything I've ever tried from the drugstore. Their apricot scrub is a godsend.
Plus, Neutrogena tests on animals :(

i liked the st. ives apricot scrub better i use it like every other day or every other two days the neutrogena one doesnt really exfoliate. st. ives does leaves your skin really soft and clean looking and i hardly break out now

I have oily skin and I deal with stress a lot!!
If this thing gets your skin dry using this I use Equate Vitamin E skin oil to back it up
I get mild and sometihng huge pimple. So this helps if you have those problems.

I use proactiv and it works for me, im 14, and i have oily skin. But i was wanting to know if it is ok to use this product after i wash my face or do the whole proactic system? Or would the combination of the 2 screw me over?

i think that you should just stick with one brand. if you use both the chemicals might damage your skin. it also might cause dryness. so just stick with proactiv if it works for you.

this scrub is the best product i've used ever! it really does make my skin feel smoother, softer, and cleaner..but there's one problem with my skin..is that whenever i wash or apply moisturizer, my nose tends to get oily after...anyone know why? i only wash once a day

this stuff actually works. its so soothing!!! it feels like you just got out of the spa, and it exfoliates your skin so well and makes your ance disolve. it doesnt irritate or make or make your skin dried out. it feels great on your skin.

This scrub actually worked for my brother and me. We've had severe acne since like we were 15. I only use this and my clinique moisturizing gel. But my brother uses it with the Neutrogena moisturizer. We still have a few scars, but don't have any bumps. My brother started using it maybe like 4 months ago. I've only been using it for 2, though. But we love it...

This stuff did clear some acne i had,but the next day i broke out! It also burns were my acne is after i use Neutragina Clear Pore Oil Elimistrating somthing , PS : I drink alot of water! Any suggestions? :(

it has the allure mark on it & i think it's great
i had/have a lot of blackheads on my nose & after i washed it, i immediately noticed a difference.
i highly recommend it!
but you should moisturize afterwards. it's very important.

i have the toner and foam too, but its seems like the scrub got lot better then the foam , but the toner is very strong and kinda burning my skin,well but it works just dont really like the smell. so im not use that toner offen ..lol

I have the Acne Stress Control Power Scrub too. I like it because afterward my skin is alot softer and noticably cleaner too. At first I didn't think it worked because there was no change but thats the point, I didn't get any pimples. Plus I've been forgetting to use it these past few weeks and I'm starting to break-out. I Definatly Recomend it:)

actually my acme was worse with products turns out acme is caused by dried skin all products will make it worse so aloe vera loshion from the dollar store cleared mine up after suffering for about eight years in about a week and it was really bad i mean really bad

there are two things that are common to be the main ingredient in face washes, benzoyl peroxide and syliac acid. its easier on the skin. benzol peroxide caused me to break out which is why things like pro active wouldnt work. check the label

this may be random, but is it possible to be allergic to benzoyl peroxide? i had the clinique acne solutions and the moisturizer would always make my skin burn and it would be dry. i thought it was just sensitivity, but it might be both...

if you have sensitive skin... benzoyl peroxide may not be the best because it causes your skin to dry even more...

i used to have REALLY tiny things on my cheeks that i thought were normal. BUT! when i started using this clean and clear scrub they went away and i was like WOW! but yet again! they didnt get rid of my pimples so i was like wtf. (pardon me lol) so
does anyone have any other recomendations. im gunna use the neutrogyena stuff. but i used to also use and acne fighting moisturizer and that benzole stuff. i usually dont use one thing. so anything else i should get along with this?

this stuff what i do since i get pimples around that time of month, and not so much acne anymore, i put it on as a mask let it sit for 10 mins with a bit of water and when u rinse it off ur skin is super soft and smooth. and gets rid of the pimples faster

by the next morning the redness will be SO reduced that you will be amazed..
The cumcumber and organic materials in it makes the swelling and redness go down completly!

Hun, you have to use it frequently in order to get full results you have to use it for my than like 2 or 3 months , so far I've been using it for 6 months and my face is crystal clear :)

omg i use this and it works really good for me.. i guess it depends on the type of skin you have but yea this is pretty good but im trying out that oil free acne wash in pink grapefruit. i wanted to try it cause it smells really good (and my mom was offering to buy to my stuff so i was sure im not paying so if it doesnt work its not my money.. kidding) but it works just like the one your using but it smells like grapefruit. but good review

I use the 3 step system including this product and it is the only product that has ever cleared my skina and actually kept it clear! I have tried sooo many crappy products and only gotten little or no results. I recommend this product to anyone even if you dont have acne it still makes your skin look and feel great. You just have to be really careful with the scrub if you have sensitive skin because the scrub can irritate it but the lotion and foam is great for sensitive skin.

this product actually made my skin better after a FEW DAYS it tells you on the website not to use it very much at first becausse of the acid. maybe thats why it got worse. at first i used it once a day and gradually twice. but the product i uesed before had it in it too
