Also, step 4 says using perfume is forbidden. Where is their daleel? I can't find anything anywhere that says using perfume is outright forbidden during daylight hours of Ramadan. I've got daleel that says it's that says it's permissible.

With that being said, every Muslim should know that perfume for women, or men's cologne with alcohol should be avoided, especially if you're going to the Masjid, and that women shouldn't lay on any scent too heavily, even if it has no alcohol.

There are several inaccuracies in this information:

The part of step 4 where it says, "begin fasting when the sky first starts to lighten on the horizon." is misleading. If you see any light, it's probably already too late to eat.  Consult your local Masjid for the time of Fajr, or a site like islamicfinder and make sure you stop eating, drinking and doing anything else forbidden from Fajr to Maghrib.

How do muslims in countries like Finland, Norway etc. fast at certain times of the year.

They have the constant daylight in summer and constant darkness in winter. So I guess they gonna have to fast for 30 days continuosly, not sure whether they will last that long though?

i started fasting since i was like 6, its not really that difficult when you are young because you dont do much, but once i reached 16 and since im a boy, i got hungry pretty easy. But i managed to hang on through out.

a little info might be misunderstood from this video. Perfume is not really forbidden unless it's mouth refresher that you spray into your mouth. However, wearing perfumes are not encouraged while fasting, be it alcoholic or non-alcoholic. That's all. If you stink too much, it's better if you put on.
