I was at a bar on new years when a bouncer tried to drag someone out. Unfortunately for him, it was a small bar with only 3 or 4 bouncers working and the guy he was dragging not only liked to fight, but was with 4 or 5 friends who liked to fight too.(I know these guys) The bouncers got their asses kicked, and the sad thing for them is the guy probably woulda left if they had just asked.
That's one of the reasons I always try to be polite and tolerant of people, at least that way if I get my ass kicked I know I couldn't have avoided it.

I worked the door for 8 years in 4 different countries. Even though there are some terrible bouncers out there, 99% of patrons get what they have coming,. Too often then not, they don't get it hard enough.
Also, some of the big pumped up guys were the best doormen around. They get a bad rap for being big, but trust me, it changes the dynamics of many situations. All the best crews I worked on were at least 50% big dudes. You'd get the odd 160 pound pro too!

I was at a bar on new years when a bouncer tried to drag someone out. Unfortunately for him, it was a small bar with only 3 or 4 bouncers working and the guy he was dragging not only liked to fight, but was with 4 or 5 friends who liked to fight too.(I know these guys) The bouncers got their asses kicked, and the sad thing for them is the guy probably woulda left if they had just asked.

im not saying i hate bouncers and some doormen ive seen at the pubs are very good...polite, friendly but take charge when they have to...that's a good bouncer. theyre there to make our nights out trouble free. its the fuckers who get bored and like to 'liven things up' that i dont like. i havent seen too many like that to be honest but they are about and theyre the ones i like to see getting the shit kicked out of them by some bloke thats done nothing wrong.

ive seen 3 bouncers pick on a 15st very good amatuer boxer for no reason and hes kicked the fucking shit out of them. i hate bouncers who think just because theyre big that they can do whatever they like to people. there were some cheers for the boxer that night because he was a quiet bloke and hadn't done anything to provoke them. they wont forget him in a hurry. wish i could say he was my best mate but i was just a bystander. hahaha

@hoohaar I agree. I hate bouncers as well for the very same reason. I love it when I hear bouncers getting owned in my home town. Some years ago bouncers refused entry to group of vietnamese. The Viets. came back with a couple of car loads of friends and kicked the bouncers ass. Cops never caught them. Bouncer ended up in hospital pretty bad. Got their own medicne back.

ya know thinking about it people just cant go to bars anymore and fight. its a thing of the pass. used to somebody won and the other lost. but they both went home. now everybody carries a gun and love to be approached. it reminds me of the iceman video i watched on here. where he was in a bar one night and this loud mouth kept mocking him and reminded him of his father. then he left and waited for the man to leave and set him and his car on fire while the guy was asleep in it. sad but true.

I worked the door for 8 years in 4 different countries. Even though there are some terrible bouncers out there, 99% of patrons get what they have coming,. Too often then not, they don't get it hard enough.
Also, some of the big pumped up guys were the best doormen around. They get a bad rap for being big, but trust me, it changes the dynamics of many situations. All the best crews I worked on were at least 50% big dudes. You'd get the odd 160 pound pro too!
