Wow. I just saw this - even though it was over a year ago. I can't believe that that is my old stomping grounds. I certainly hope everyone has managed to rebuild and that everyone was okay.

My home area I now live in S.C. but never saw anything like this in Old Mystic....the Yantic River used to flood but this is incredible.......Thanks for letting us see....and sharing.... I hope all will come through safely........

This footage displays the difference between flooding we've seen in other parts of the country & New England. This isn't water placidly rising as folks stroll though it , or paddle canoes around to pick people up- THIS stuff is ROCKETING through!

Great job getting that video. I live on River Road and was completely flooded so it is nice to see what the rest of the town was like. I pray that we all recover and that it never happens again.
