Yeah, you're pretty right. But they do have many little bit more complicated things that you don't even notice when listening ;D You recognize them when playing the song. And imo they don't have to be technical to sound amazing. As they do. :)

This isn't a solo, just an intro so chill with the "he sucks" comments. Sure his drumming isn't very technical but he does an excellent job of creating drum parts that complement everyone else in the band. Personally, I'm bad at creating original stuff that fits with everything else, but that's just me.
