David Cameron was your average Tory back in the day, clearly right wing, loved Thatcher, supported the propositon to ban all promotion of homosexuality in schools. Yet now he calls himself the new middle man, shifting the interests of the party to fit what he thinks people wanted. Now theres too much consensus between the two parties. Its the conservatives duty to be different! they shouldnt be afraid to be different!

i seem to remember the maggie thatchers crew going on holiday well knowing the falkands was going to happen and still they went away and left the people of those islands in strife and then played a booster for moral by going to SAVE them all after she had ruined the economy sold the steel works the oil and gas produced a 3 day working week and reduced the country to its knees we used to have a helicopter factory but maggie closed it!!!!!!!

andy mcnab had his own version of events in iraq, they failed in nearly all of the missions they unertook on the other hand the sbs got on with the job flew into the outskirts of iraq with the aid of the raf special forces support and cut the cables brought it back for proof and carry on as always just doing there job without telling everyone how good they are.

Hopefully you guys will still trust us and help us in Afghanistan despite the fiasco in Iraq. If Obama gets elected and so does Cameron that would be awesome. We need continued British help in Afghanistan and I thank the British for their sacrifice. Hopefully we can end that disaster in Iraq as soon as possible.

i don't think the british should be involved in the war i think it has nothing 2 do with britain it's America's war i supported it at first but now it's over and i think the republicans just want it to go on forever but eitherway i'm a dual uk/us citizen and i think its America's war and America should fight it but just because we're allies doesn't mean we should go 2 war just because america did thats how WWII started these same alliances and these same people vowing to go 2 war for each other

Well done Mr Cameron. British troops should be given full support in the difficult jobs they do. The labour government have badly let down the British armed forces, shame on Brown and the useless labour party.

The British armed forces have taken a hammering after 11 years of Labour rule. We are fighting a global war on terror and our defence budget should reflect that. I hope and pray that a Tory government would make sure that all the service get the equipment and personnel they need.

Great stuff Mr Cameron, I'd feel happier to see our brave soldiers getting more, their decent hard working brave men & women, I'd love to see them with more helicopters for sure plus other equipment better voice & data communication technology, weapons & armour, ground vehicles and a whole range of health support options for both mental & physical injuries received during duty. Them soliders are the real heros not mr brown as he likes to often boast. My heart to their families & them. :)
