@mizskayla91 No need to worry if you check your bags. I still put liquids inside a plastic bag just for leakage when I have checked bags.

I always suggest checking your bags. Most don't need shampoo etc inflight.

Next time I travel I hope to only have a carry-on bag for 2 reasons. My luggage has been lost before which can ruin your trip and in order to save money. For instance I just looked at American Airlines fees and your FIRST checked bag is $25 and that is only for one-way!

Check with your carrier but that one is pretty standard.

@lilpackerfreak Oh, I HATE that when I want/need something and didn't pack it. i say bring all that you THINK you will need, just check it. No need to drag a heavy bag thru the airport.

I would bring one small palette of neutral tones shadows, some foundation if you wear it. Tons of sunscreen, blush. lipstick etc in your fav shades.

Mostly, just relax and have FUN!

Hello, it really depends on your carrier so call and check ahead but some aircrafts have no place you can plug in anyway at 45,000 feet. Most bring a backup battery for long haul flights. For me, I just buy a backup battery.

Other helpful tips

* turning off wireless network

* dim the display

* lower the CPU speed if you have that option

* minimize unnecessary hard-drive access

@LetsMakeUp21 I totally understand your concern. I used to worry like a freak about mine but life is short. If you want it and can afford it... i say BUY it! You won't regret it. As for marks and issues, I think that LV looks better a bit beat up. The brand new in pristine condition just looks too "pat"

I like mine a bit yanked up. LV is guaranteed for life so if it rips or breaks, they will repair it! You will look and feel like the million dollar fashionista that you ARE!

These days, who knows. Best to call your airline or for SURE if the package is under 3 oz they should pass thru security just fine. When in doubt, I check it. Last time I flew for pleasure, they were only allowing ONE lipstick or lipgloss! Crazy

Depends on your carrier but most airlines only allow under 3 ounces on board. Simply check the liquids in your checked baggage. You won't need them during your flight :)

I have never heard of that! I think it depends on your carrier but... I do know most will make you take it out of whatever bag you have it in. Same with your cell phone. Simply place them in the container to go thru security and not in a bag. Have a SAFE and FUN trip!

Do you carry your LV carry on and a purse? Or are you only allowed to take ONE bag on only? I haven't flown in awhile and was unsure about that.

You are allowed to have ONE carryon and One personal bag such as a handbag, briefcase, etc. Any additional must be checked. Checked bags are done electronically now and it usually runs $40 for TWO checked bags or by the pound depending on your carrier. No need for toiletries onboard unless you decide not to check anything but be prepared for security checks. Hope this helps.

You would be my Nephews dream passanger to check thru security...he is a TSA at the Buffalo AP & he tells me about the things ppl try to get thru...LOL Sad thing is ppl lose so much money in items cuz if the TSA takes anything away...you can't ever get it back & the Airport staff gets dibs before they are tossed out.
