This is the best fan film I've ever seen. If you compiled everything you've done, expand and explain the story a bit, and finish it, you could release it in a DVD. I for one would definitely buy. This is great stuff. Don't ever stop because this video alone will take you somewhere.
Tremendous...outstanding..my only critique would be some scenes appear to be too dark...and I don't care for the ( for lack of better terms ) ' Blurred ' effects...not saying it's bad, just my personal taste...I just thought it would be alot better if the visuals were a little brighter, crisp and clear....
This is one of my favorite fanfilms - like most of my other favorites, it doesn't try too bloody hard to make a great story, instead sticking with the familiar themes and concepts that are core to the Star Wars saga while not treading the exact same ground, and coming out pretty good for it.
As fan films go, most seem more interested in trying to push the effects envelope than anything else. This is the first fan film I've seen that makes the effects seem like a seamless part of the whole while incorporating a great story line. Frankly I'm in awe with what you all have managed to create, from the modeling down to the music and editing. My only quibble is try to find a location that has less graffiti. Otherwise, massive kudos to you all!

My only other comment would be in line with what a lot of others are saying: Stay away from the garage parking lot scene. It's so overdone in Star Wars fanfilms; it takes away from the story. Other than that, great job. I would throw money towards a series of these videos if you guys ever needed it.
I really like this one. It doesn't try to copy the movies. It just tells its own storys. Also, the Special Effects and the Soundtrack are really great. In my opinion, this is the best fan film I've seen so far, and I've seen a hundred Star Wars fan films in my life.
This was really well done, but like others have commented... the Graffiti in the background took you out of the moment and also like someone else mentioned the glow effect was a little to heavily over used. But well done, really high quality. Looking forward to seeing another one. Also the music is fantastic.
This should have had way more views for how well made it is. The only criticism I can offer is that the editting is a bit uneconomical. There are too many long lingering shots and fade to blacks, I know it's not a music video, but youtube is the place for people with short attention spans ;)

7:00 Never, even in the official movies, have I seen the Jedi use of the light saber so precisely matched to the Jedi philosophy. The Sith is aggressive and afraid, using flurries of hard attacks to strike his opponent down. Yet the fierce attacks are in vain--the Jedi is in complete control; his light-saber more a tool than a weapon. Always calm, balanced, and ready for the next attack at the end of every move. The choreography is absolutely incredible.
I am absolutely stunned that this has not received enough attention. This is the third of three fanfilms that are truly professional and compelling. The choreagraphy with the saber battle is flawless--I mean flawless; and the special effects sequences are unique. A lot of thought and creativity and a love of this genre into its own that is Star Wars is represented here. I'd pay to see this!!!!

yet another boring lightsaber fight , to much flash and no substance behind the fights sadly , I couldnt feel the emotion behind it , the maine actors troubled past when fighting his brother... Light saber duels tend to focus on hitting lightsabers not the target sadly the mistake alot of people do in fan films and the actual three pre-quel movies , I preffer 4, 5, 6 duels much more , I was engaged with the Luke and vader and felt the tension in the aire. On this Video's Visual style A+
Not bad for a fanfilm, as its "less is more" approach works very well.
My only gripe would be the jedi battle - if a fight is becoming repetitive then have the combatants move to another location. You'll notice in ESB, the battle starts from the Cooling Chamber, to a confined corridor and finally a thin platform. Otherwise it was very good - the blows came thick'n'fast.
I've seen a few fan films and shorts so far in my time and I have to honestly say...this looks like it could be up there as one of the best. Some of the visuals are truly outstanding and the score is perfect.
It would awesome (although I know how difficult it may be) to see a full feature of say 60mins at least.
To say I'm really impressed would be an understatement...seriously...Star Wars: Revelations?...Star Wars: A Light In The Darkness?...they seem mediocre and amateur compared to this.

@furioussmales Zdravím, díky za chválu, moc si toho vážim. 3d modely jsem vytvořil já, kombinace Maya a AAE. Na plátně bylo točeno jen minimum záběrů, celá bojová sekvence je samozřejmě v reálném prostředí. Celý film byl spíše takový experiment, kterým jsem si chtěl ověřit, že něco podobného dokážu. S třetím dílem mám vyšší ambice. Info o něm můžeš sledovat na mém blogu (stačí rozbalit info k tomuto videu, všechny odkazy jsou tam).
Holy SHIT! Česky, DO....!!!!! To je prostě, mě to nejde do hlavy teď.Nekoukal jsem se na to na celý, stačilo mi 15 sec a věděl jsem, že mě to bude štvát. Půl roku zpět jsme začali točit vysoce amatérské filmy a teď děláme snímky novější, (proš štvát?) protože vy to máte dokonalý. Sice SW mě vždy štvalo ale to mě teď nezjímá, jde mi o to, že sice vím, jak se vyrábí v AAE světelný meč, jak udělat blesky, explozi, ty lasery co ničili město, ale do sakra, to je sna dcelý přes zelený plátno ne? BEST!

If they wanted to wipe out a city, but not the entire planet, they sent Star Destroyers into do it
Besides, the Death Star (both of them) where designed to tackle capital ships. That's why the rebels never launched a their fleet against he first one, and only attack the second one with their fleet because they thought it wasn't operational
Very well done! This has given me much inspiration for my own fanfilm sequel I am making. I really enjoyed the darker, more psychologically concentrated tone of the film which I believe is missed in so many fanfilms and even official SW stories are missing when dealing with the force.
@CamperCz Nemohl bys mi tedy, prosím, sdělit, odkud jsi předevčím čerpal svůj um? Myslím třeba nějaký konkrétní server s tutoriály pro Mayu, něco jako je VideoCopilot pro AAE. Ještě jednou se klaním, ty modely jsou úžasné, jakož i animace mraků a výbuchů; zvláště uvážím-li, že pocházejí z amatérských podmínek.
Je to parádní, jenom mě trochu občas rušil ten nadměrnej kontrast (chápu, že to byl záměr, chtěli jste vytvořit dojem představy) a nechápu, proč to máte anglicky, když tam nikdo neřekne doopravdy vlastně ani slovo a tim pádem by to nebyl problém to třebas i dodatečně předabovat do češtiny. Jinak je to ale skvěle udělaný, jak souboj, tak těch pár záběrů ve vesmíru i nálet na město. Možná to chtělo jenom trochu rychlejší začátek.
@Caladras Zdravim, diky moc za komentar. Nadmerny kontrast ve videu byl, ale zcasti je to zpusobeno i kompresi na Youtube, v puvodni verzi je vse udelano tak, aby bylo dobre videt. Anglictina je tam proto, ze mne osobne prijde, ze cestina se pro tento zanr naprosto nehodi.... Nedokazu si predstavit, ze bych do ni i tak jednoduche texty jako v SotP prekladal a daboval.
