almost forgot, i have a marshall jcm 800 and a jtm 45, i'm a marshall freak.
i have a mesa triple rect, a peavey 5150, randall warhead, 2 soldanos, couple fender tweeds, i built my own marshall clone jcm 800 and a trainwreck too.
i have been exposed to some decent high dollar amps.
this thing does not approximate a "warm tube amp" from a "tone freaks" point of view but it is my favorite solid state amp EVER. all their cube amps sound reasonably decent.
Is it only me that thinks the recording from amp to computer directly, doesnt give the same sound quality? what's recommended for recording, to get good quality sound?
You'll probably want to plug a decent microphone into your audio interface and place the mic in front of the amp. I like the Shure SM57 and the new Beta 181 small diaphragm condenser mic. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
@vaton9 Pretty damn loud for something that isn't much bigger than a toaster... He did a demo of it when I saw him last year... I was way in the back and he cranked it... sounded great.. It'd hold up to rehearsals/small gigs judging by how much it puts out.
Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, due to our dealer agreements with Roland we are not allowed to ship outside the U.S. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
That's the on-board delay effect. Everything you hear in this video is from the amp. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Thanks for watching!
Hey! I just got my Roland Cube 80xl, and I've got Boss Me-25 already. The thing is that I tried to use my boss me-25 on the Cube, and it didn't work that well. It worked fine on my old amp. It shouldn't be that expensive if it doesnt work with any foot pedals...
What kinds of problems were you having when using the ME25 with your Cube 80XL? I would think you'd want to bypass all of the amp simulation effects on the ME25 and use it primarily for delay, chorus, reverb, etc. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
does the ME 70 go well with this amp?

Is this Amp good for band practices??
Haddockxyz300 2 months ago
@Haddockxyz300
hell yeah, you can play a 60 table gig (60' x 100' bar) easily with this amp on 6.
if you line out to 2 4x12's you can really reach out there even further.
this thing will blow you out of your living room on 4.
i have one and it doesn't go past 2 unless i take it to the garage and the wife ain't home.

Is this loud enough to play with drums in a band?
Macsk8ing 6 months ago
@Macsk8ing If you put it loudest you wont even be able to hear drums because you are gonna be deaf.

sounds good, i wonder if it will sound even better with my multieffects pedal, or this carry everything on? does it have a footswitch pedal?

I sold my 6505+ with 4x12 and got that little compact tone machine.
Best investment in music gear I made since buying my Gibson LesPaul Standard back in 1992...
Versatility, portability, very good tones, gee I even got my beloved JC120 I was missing since I sold the two I had...
