@vb6wiz yo dude, trails look really good - yeah I'm still there but I'm doing the home theater, CCTV, and computer repairs for them - our website - sigfl.net...
@mb72395 you're right, the hardest section on this trail begins at 4:00 with the incline and pass over root at the highest point at 4:47, right after that another climb and that's the hardest part. The difficulty on those trails is in roots 90% and loose rocks I would say, just my opinion. Nice vid btw
yo great vid just got into MTB recently picked up a trek 4300 and loved it in AMELIA EARHART in oleta is their alot of sand like there is in amelia?? also is there any steep climbs like camel humps... i was supposed to go tomorrow but gotta get my wheels trued
nice video. Im just getting into the helmet cam videos myself. What camera are you using? And what front fork shocks are you using? have you been to markham park?
@Enfrik13 i use a gopro hero hd cam and my front shocks are Fox F Series. Been to Markham a lot, I love it there as well but Oleta is still my first love....
@sigmiami Nice! Im new to miami so i just started going to oleta. Are you in any biking club by any chance cause i cant find any!one to ride with!. Thanks for the reply
@Enfrik13 you are more than welcome to ride with me when ever I go (usually 2-3 times a week) - if you have facebook you can find me using the email sigmiami
I belong to Oleta River Adventure Association (ORAA) but its hard to get a hold of those guys so I gave up on them after sending them like 7 unanswered emails....
@sigmiami Yeah it would be sick to see if we can meet up one of these days. Im currently in finals but after tomorrow i can definetly go. I cant find you on facebook though.
I got out there yesterday and it was a blast. Nice to see it is as good if not better than it used to be. They really keep the trails nice and marked off.
I stay pretty close to home these days. Oak Mountain's 10,000 acres is a lot to cover and it's just a five minute car ride from my house to the trailheads. I'm out there every day, mostly with my dog, here lately and making these trail videos. I'm in the process of soing the 18 mile red trail right now. Probabally take a year to cover. It looks so different each season and both directions. You know what I mean.
I felt like I was underwater or someting while I watched this video. This trail would just be "way too much work" for my old bones. I mean I love it, but it just takes too long for my bones to heal these days.
long time no see, will be heading back to the trails in Feb - Are you still doing TV installs for systems integration group?
