  • There's that million dollar smile....

  • who played the guitar?

  • @1994liberty

I think it is Jon Randall, but I am not positive.

  • I think this was a tv special for the nashville netwok, early 1991.it would sure be great if they released this as a dvd. I'd buy 2 copies in case I lost 1 mozizgod is right, walls of time is PHENOMINAL, the usual standard of quality for every thing ELH touches.

  • Pretty sure this video is after all the years mentioned below in comments, that's Mark Winchester on the upright bass, and Roy Huskey Jr. was her bass player in the years mentioned, being 1990-93.

  • who the fuck dressed her? LMAO!!!!

  • @RickinFLA07 I think she looks pretty cute. Are you from New York or Connecticut or somewhere like that?

  • @hotajax

Rick_in_fla,,,,,,FLORIDA,Do you understand now? FLA = FLORIDA,,,not NY or CT.

(damn some folks are just plain stupid)

  • @RickinFLA07 Oh, sorry. How can I make your day better for you?

  • @hotajax .....HAHA !

    That's You in that dress,Right ? HAHA

  • Does anyone have the original recording of "Walls of Time" from "Live at the Ryman" on video? The versions I've found on youtube so far have been less than great.

  • It's probably Al Perkins on dobro

  • @todd11561 It is Al Perkins.

  • It's not Jerry Douglas on dobro

  • Im looking for that concert at the Ryman she gave a few years ago, I have it on CD but Im looking for it on DVD.

  • That is the Dobro genius Jerry Douglas playing the dobro

  • Great performance. Who's playing dobro?

  • What year was this? This is fantastic.

  • @doowopnuts I believe this was from a Video recorded in 1990 called "Emmy Lou Harris at the Ryman".

  • @momrobare Actually I've seen the year for this video being 1990,1991 and 1992. LOL. But it is an actual video. Don't know if it's available in DVD format or not.

  • sam bush is always just loving it, just rockin out.

  • 1973 Drummer---some other version may be better, but I've never seen Emmy Lou

Harris so relaxed and into a song. Notice she is actually smiling a lot---never seen that pretty set of chomps before---She's simply the best!

  • The "Live at the Ryman" version is better.

  • Love this lady...And Jon Randal is a great singer and muscian as well.

  • Good Picking...

  • Ack. I always love Emmylou, and I'm a steel guitar and dobro kinda guy, but this time they really shouldn't have changed the guitar part. :(

  • @texasmusician

I agree - She is a genius on choosing and covering great music, but this loses the essence of the song. Can't think iof any other song of hers where I would say that.

  • Wow, I never knew this cover existed! awesome

  • Real Steel Cowboy Music!!!!!!
