Diversity is the spice of life – On a personal note I have never considered myself a Pipe Presenter - but I am a member of the Pipe community on YouTube ... I pick and choose what/who I watch based on my own taste/likes - I think the bottom line as I see it is – Don’t take any of it seriously life is hard enough - to me it's simple if you stop enjoying it – then stop doing it.

Its called diversity. How boring would this community be if we all acted, talked, and thought the same. Things have to change in order to stay fresh, and that takes new people with fresh ideas, and fresh personalities. Not everyone is going to like it, but that does not give those people the right to try and squash it.

@mollophant I think you've missed the point of what I was getting at. And I believe that we do have a misunderstanding, that I will message you about soon. "Housekeeping" has bothered me in its evolution, I've talked about my thoughts on it, and others have shared a like view on it, and because I talked about it the way I did, yet did not talk to the originator about it, I owed him an apology. I had nothing against him, and I didn't want my distaste to come across as personal.
Great video! The "housekeeping" thing struck me the same. But I'm guilty of doing the same thing. Several years ago, I started making vids and in the beginning they were all pipe/tobacco focused. Then I ran out of stuff to say. Ran out of pipes to show. Couldn't keep buying expensive tobacco to review. So what do I do, just fade away? I decided to share activities and hobbies I enjoy doing WHILE I'm smoking my pipe. Every vid I've made, has me smoking a pipe the whole time.

I believe popularity games have been pushed and played and divisions have revealed themselves and much of this has come to light in the responses on the vent videos that came out recently. Considering I am fresh out of high school, I know what you mean by the whole High school girl analogy. I joined the community as a viewer a year and a half ago and it has changed. It seems so childish. Keep making the vids mate. That is really all that matters to me as a viewer.
