  • I know my question might sound a bit stupid, but still gonna as anyway.. lol

I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a Cordoba nylon string guitar with a cut-away on which rhythm and plucking would sound really warm but lead will sound kinda bright.

    Thanks

  • @syke84 This is the one. The only thing I don't like about it is that the neck is set so close to the body that I can't use my thumbpick without it hitting the top of the guitar quite a bit. I would say it's not a good guitar for people using thumbpicks, but for others it's really quite nice.

  • @sthugh thanks for the reply man.

  • I gotta say, I love the neck on these things! Unfortunately, even though Cordoba lists some of their classical guitars (usually the ones with a cutaway) as also having a 50mm nut width, it's obvious when you pick them up that they're really 52mm. Imean, they've got that Fusion line, but those are too small at 48mm. I do wish that I could get a classical guitar with this neck though.

  • Is this guitar made in Spain, or is a good Chinese reproduction of a great Spanish guitar? Can somebody tell me? Am burning for one.

  • @SalvvOrtiz Who cares where it was made. I'm sure it wasn't in Spain, but anyone, anywhere is quite capable of making a good guitar if they want to, including the Chinese. If you like it, buy it. The price is so cheap that you couldn't get burned too bad anyway.

  • @gmdinformation It matters to me, an instrument that has a Spanish name and is made by imitators, can't keep it's value for a long time. If I want to buy a sculpture of Budda I'd buy one made in China, not one made in Tijuana.

  • I just bought one of these and I'm very happy with it, now if I could just get it to make the sounds like Marcelo...

  • That'sgot some powerful bass. Usually guitars in this price range don't have that kind of bass. I definitely have my eye out for this guitar...

  • @flatlandbhoy Yes, that's basically the only difference. The negra model is about $50 more though. I don't think either has solid back and sides though anyway. I'm pretty sure they're laminated, so I wouldn't expect the sound to be much different between them really.

  • @gmdinformation It has a solid spruce top, and indian rosewood back and sides.

  • @SalvvOrtiz I know. The back and sides are laminated though. I mean, it doesn't matter to me. As long as the top is solid I really don't think it matters one iota whether or not the back and sides are a laminate. Some builders like D'Aquisto even think they sound better that way, and they certainly last longer.

  • Cordobas are my favorite

  • f%#%ing INCREDIBLE!

  • Why do you call this the negra? Looks like my blanco...just curious. edit, I see why the sides?

  • Why do you call this the negra? Looks like my blanco...just curious.

  • This is one of about 8 or 9 guitars on my list that I am working on narrowing down to the one that's right for me. I hope it will be available soon to play in person and consider.

  • Wht is the song he plays at first half? before 2:48.

  • @ShinSUREYOUCAN "Alfonsina y el mar"

  • I played this guitar at local Guitar center and sounds good . Its great for rumba gitan...... BUT why did Cordoba narrow the neck?????? Flamencos should have a wider neck.

  • @elgriego331 they didnt narrow the neck. the negra and the original gk studio have the traditional 1.96" nut width. only cordoba fusion models have the 1-7/8" nut width.

  • does anyone know the song played in the second half of the video?

  • @khd29out If you mean starting around 2:48 That's "Adios Nonino" by Piazzolla. I was just checking the gtr, didn't imagine it would end up on youtube!

  • Esta bellísima pieza musical

es una adaptación de la melodía llamada

    ALFONSINA Y LA MAR

que es una canción popular latinoamericana

    dedicada a la finada poetiza

    ALFONSINA STORNI...
