  • Very much unlike Editors' famous releases, very rocky & energetic.

This one is like a bubble of poetry floating in the sunny air of a spring morning, and your heart seems light as a cloud, and your soul feels like humming, softly singing a tune of serenity...

    Be @ peace, sisters n brothers !!!!

  • @rockdoublard Nice comment.

If you like this you'll probably like their song called "You Are Fading". That's if you haven't heard it already. It's one of their best songs. You should check out. It's also their saddest song.

  • @dfjnjfn ------ Thks for commenting, and for complimenting !

YOU ARE FADING is a great song too, really ! But i still have a spot spot for this one hear (no offence, eh !).

But gratitude of mine goes to you for hinting me to that other cool song !

    All da best, Buddy !

  • anychance you can message me the MP3 link to this song plz?

i have 53 editors songs and counting lol

  • awesome song!

  • Thanks for this - i've got most editors songs/ bsides etc, but this is one I missed! its a lovley song. Editors really are a fanastic band - tom writes his lyrics wonderfully; but hes said he tries not to write a story - who knows.

    Thanks again!

  • Hi. Yeah, Tom said that he likes to purposley be ambiguous in his songs, leaving the listener to gather his own own conclusions of what his songs mean. And yeah, he doesn't write stories. He says he writes things based on real life, or things he has seen or experienced. Like 'well worn hand' was about someone he knew who walked out of their house, and just got beaten to death for no reason. Tome said he thought to himself... 'Well, what was the point of that...'

  • cool reply - thanks! :)

  • :) Your welcome man

  • thx for posting this song!

  • Never heard this song before, but this is really great! Thanks for posting this!

  • Thanks. To me, its one of the saddest editors songs, maybe after 'you are fading'. I think there's a deep message behind it. Wish I knew what Tom was singing about, though. Thanks for the comment too.

  • Yeah, I guess it is one of the saddest songs, but the lyrics are beautiful and I actually can relate to them. Like this very much!

  • I do agree that it's a sad song.

"You are Fading" is also a sad song, yet very upbeat. That's the amazing thing about Editors - they can sing about sad things but don't make them sound if it's like music you can kill yourself to.

I'm a big Editors fan, and I've never heard this song before, so thanks for the upload. I've got the vinyl for "All Sparks" but the B-side is different. I was wondering if you knew if all the b-sides are different from the vinyl and cd releases, thanks.

  • Hi. Cool comment, I agree. About the vinyl and cd thing, I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I think some are the same, and some are different. I wish I could help u, but I'm not totally sure about that.
