Repo is about a Repo man, essentially. hence the name.

it's set in the future where people can buy replacement body parts and surgery is a common, weekly or daily occurrence. if you don't pay for your replacement parts then a repo man comes and takes them from you.

Mag was born blind and signed a contract with GeneCo, the purveyor of body parts, that the company would essentially own her if they gave her working eyes. If she breaks the contract, her eyes get repo-ed.

Her eyes also have special abilities like being able to record memories and replay them like a projection. "These eyes can do more than see" as she says during one of her songs.

The Pharoh's used it to block the sun from hitting their eyes on the desert but people have used it in Gothic themes to synmbolize darkness which is so eroneous! First id like to say the movie is AWSOME! Ive seen it at least 100 times and i cant wait to watch it again! Sara Brightman is by far the best singer, and the best looking!!! Her last performence at the opera, when she comes out in that dress with the big eyelashes and of course her eyes......... I always stop what im doing and watch that sceen, she's beautiful!! Nice video!! Got me thinking about popping the movie in the blue ray.

Blind Mag has special eyes that allow her to replay images from her past (kind of like a video camera)--the story takes place in the future where new surgeries and procedures happen all the time. In that part, she's showing her best friend singing (it's like a projection).
