por eso vemos que los primero cristianos abolieron la circuncisión y la remplazaron por el bautismo, con la circuncisión un JUDÍO Pertenecía al Pueblo santo, de igual manera el Bautismo en los niños es una participación a ser Hijos de Dios.

En las promesas del profeta Isaías dice derramare mi Espíritu sobre tus hijos. Cuando un adulto se bautiza es obvio que tiene que arrepentirse porque esa es la manera que nosotros aceptamos a Jesucristo, pero cuando un niño es bautizado es como cuando un niño recibía la circuncisión ,

Bueno, con todo respeto, lo único que has hecho es hablar de lo que los hombres dicen, pero por que no ves lo que Dios dice en la Biblia, no importa cuantos hombres digan que es necesario bautizar infantes, lo importante es lo que la Biblia dice, pero al parecer a ti te importa mas lo que los hombres dicen que lo que DIOS dice. Biblia señor, usa la Biblia.

A decision like that should be left later on to the child, obviously you will have some influence over his choice but it is best to let him choose what faith he is going to follow. Should we baptize our children yes, but only to the purpose of keeping them safe, not to force them into a religion that should be left for them to decide later.

But what you don't explain is the fact that to many religions consider baptism the initiation to the membership or attachment to that religion. I agree with the fact of baptizing your children for their protection but not to baptizing them to the religion, simply because when you are a child you can't decide what faith you will follow.

I do understand the point you are trying to make by stating that this was a traditional way to substitute circumcision. I also understand the fact that children have no personal sin, and baptizing them in order to keep the evil away is a good start.
