you can also use craft string,you know that plasticy string stuff.its alot cheaper to buy that any buying the string you used!

@sydblueeyes1 I haven't tried any other beads but perler beads have pretty small holes and the good thing about pony beads is that the string can go through them multiple times because of the hole is pretty big. I think it would be really hard with perler beads because it would be difficult to string it through more than once.
