He still wrestles part-time, about an average of 3 to 4 times a month. In fact, he did a few matches in Japan! This is his 45th year in Pro Wrestling! Wow, I've been a mil mascaras fan since I was a kid in the 70's. I have several dvd's of his matches and watching them never gets old. I met him twice in the last year and contrary to some opinions of him I found him to be very personable and we laughed over a few stories, I just think he's awesome. I did get him to sign one of his masks for me and believe me it's one of my coolest possessions.

Most of this footage is of an older Mil Mascaras. I saw him wrestle in the 70's and 80's. He was like a real life superhero. One of my faves of all time.

I met him somewhere around 2003 at a convention.

Tengo entendido que lucho contra Cactus Jack. Y la lucha de campeonato que mencionas fue un intento de unificar los titulos de la IWA (campeon Mil Mascaras) y el de la UWA (campeon Canek), sin embargo la lucha termino en empate y ambos mantuvieron sus titulos.

I vacationed in Puerto Vallarta last year and had to visit over 20 shops to finally get a Mil Mascaras Mask. I was never lucky enough to catch a mask that Mil threw out in the crowds before his match.

those criticisms have come from young yank wrestlers who cant wrestler for shite. Mascaras was a tough wrestler& a very technical one as well. When MM and the Destroyer went at it, theyd have long drawn out matches in which theyd really go at it.
