I figured that out on my own, I just want to know how to change the background so you can walkthrough it but then it changes into a coin when you hit a pswitch block.

It's kinda complicated.

What he did was make the switch block tile act like a brown block, then change some other block to make it act like a coin, so basically he had two tiles acting like brown blocks and two tiles acting like coins. he then changed the GFX of the FIRST block and SECOND coin to a switch palace blocks. And that's pretty much how he did it.

It's a pretty simple Map16 edit in Lunar Magic. All you have to do is go into the free space and create tiles with the graphics of the switch palace floor (or whatever, really) and the properties of coins.

Why you go longer way??? just press POW take coins and go down and wait that POW is over. Then you go back up and you can take the bouncer (ok, I don't know name of that).

what i mean is, since the springboard started on the coin block, you can hit the p switch, open the path WITHOUT touching the center coin on the floor (if even possible), then you go off screen and wait for the blocks to come back, and the spring will be waiting for you.

Awesome. I used the Lunar Magic to hack SMW myself. But when testing out my new levels, the game froze up at a certain point (the music kept right on playing, though). This happened twice. So, I scrapped the project.

you know, u dont have to go through that pipe to get the springboard, 'member how in the beginning how u hit the p switch that opened the path to the spring board but it fell in the mud? well if u go somewhere where its not currently on screen and u go back up when the p switch runs out, it will be on that block and u can jump over and jump out with it

click on the mario head and set to layer 2 level then go to sprites and generators find the layer 2 option you want then go to layer 2 mode everything will now work for layer 2 note wont work with sprites
